Greetings everyone, I'm glad to have you here in this space. I welcome everyone to my blog.
It's a beautiful Tuesday, and I want to share my experience today with you on what I call an unexpected encounter.
This is what I want to talk about. As a student who goes to school every day. And not only school, but I also used the road every day.
But one thing about me is that each time I pass by a road, I observe everything I see. That's because as a linguist, I was taught to do that so I would know how to research certain things I see or experience daily.
So today, I experienced two things, I've shared one in another community, so I'm sharing the second experience I had earlier today here in this very community.
I plead with you all to go through it because it would interest you, and gives you the reason to do what you feel you couldn't do.
So there's this market I passed by while going to school. And each time I passed there, I always saw a lady sitting by the roadside.
I didn't know her before, but I've been seeing her and her baby. We've never had conversations before.
Recently, I've noticed that everywhere I go, children seem to like me even when they've never seen me before.

So sometimes I begin to ask myself about my true identity, and what those experiences mean. But up till now, I've not gotten answers to those questions.
So when I passed by the market earlier this morning, I saw a little girl waving and smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

So I wanted to know who she was since I saw her from afar. So when I got closer to where she was, I noticed she was the lady's daughter.
I hugged her, and she kept smiling at me. The next thing I experienced was that she raised her two hands, and I noticed she needed me to carry her, so I did exactly what she demanded.

She was so excited because I took her in my hands. Everyone marvelled at her actions. And I asked why it was so, and her mother told me she doesn't allow anyone to carry her, except her mother.
She told me everything looks like a dream. I sat er down on her mother's table. I sang some songs for her, and you needed to see the way she danced.

She was overexcited, but that's what I can't explain. How on earth can such a little damsel be that happy? It surprised me because I've never experienced such a thing in my entire life.
When I wanted to leave, I gave her mother money to buy something for her. She told me she doesn't accept gifts from strangers except from her, her mother.

So I put my money back, but she cried. I took the money out, I bought snacks for her, and she took them from me.
Her mother thanked me. She asked me to come and take her to my house, as she had never seen her daughter so happy before.
It was a great experience. One, I will never forget. That alone said so many things about my personality and what I carry.
I enjoyed the whole thing, and I hope to experience more of that in some years to come.
Thank you, everyone, for visiting my blog.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
