I feel exceptionally honoured and touched that my story reached you, and seems to have struck a nerve with quite a number of people.
Writing this piece and the others in my Mental Health blog has shown me that my experiences, which I thought were unique (and a bit lonely), are quite universal and it's my mission to lift misconceptions about the struggles of motherhood and mental health in general. I'm meeting so many wonderful people along the way who are inspiring me with their shared experiences to keep on writing.
