Arica, the city oasis surrounded by caves and sand
Buckle up cause @aurzeq and I are about to take you on a small trip around my favorite town in the world, home to the oldest mummies known to men, delicious ice creams, caves, ocean and green valleys in the middle of the desert.
@aurzeq and I traveled to Chile to spend some time with my family. After landing in Santiago, Chile’s capital and biggest city, we took another 2:30 hour flight to the most northern city and airport in the country: Arica. This city is only 25 minutes away from the border with Peru, and just 3 hours away from the border with Bolivia.

Tea in Vietnam
Hello my Hive friends, today I am sharing a very special ingredient, Vietnamese tea. When we first got a strong Vietnamese coffee with green tea we thought it was a mistake. At first, we thought that we were misunderstood and that was why the old lady brought both energizing beverages to the table. By the end, we couldn’t decide what we liked more, the sweet thick Vietnamese coffee or the fragrant jasmine green tea. In truth, it didn’t matter, and we were happy to get the same service on many occasions even with improved vocabulary. Precisely that motivated us to look deeper into Vietnamese tea-drinking habits.

The Banjolorian featuring The Saxonz
Hey Hivers!
A playful mix of traditional folk instruments and hip hop grooves, the track sits at the juxtaposition between the rural Americana folk and urban rhythms that have been a driver behind the group’s unique sound.
The vision for the song came together while traveling extensively in the American west during their Lose Your Ties tour in 2019. In typical ”Trouble” fashion, they met brilliant musicians from both the Hip-hop and Folk scenes that shaped the vision for the song, dreaming to create something that would fuse the two genres together.

Lai da Marmorera
Lai da Marmorera is a dam built in the canton of Graubünden, and it is part of the largest nature park in Switzerland called Ela Park. We were on a way to our hike when we saw this vast mass of ice surrounded by the Alps. We had to stop when we were passing by as we wanted to explore come closer and explore it.
The dam was built after the World War II. when there was extended need for electricity in Zurich. The construction came at cost for locals who lived in a village called Marmorera. Today, the village is submerged under water and people were relocated to other villages in the canton of Graubünden.

Fish soup IS yummie!!
Love soup? Love fish? Love fish soup!
Well, it's not quite as easy, I'll be the first to admit that. But I truly love fish. And soup. The combination of the two took me a while. And I am pretty sure I wouldn't appreciate seeing a fish head swimming in my soup, but for making fish soup? Perfect!
I grew up with summer vacation spent at the Danish coast fishing every day with my dad and having fresh caught cod both for lunch and dinner.

Watusi Woman - Saluting Sailor
We said our goodbyes to our mates at the marina and set off on our next little adventure. Hopefully under sail, not the iron sail, but there wasn't much wind in the forecast for the next few days . We motored out into the channel between Marina Island and Pangkor Island and straight away received a radio call from a military ship. Friendly call, in case you were wondering. They kindly gave us a military escort through the channel to send us on our way. Or maybe they were just overtaking us to get to the navy base just up on the right.
