Am I back on track to reaching a 1500 ELO rating?

It's been a while since I played chess, not because I didn't want to, but because I haven't had the time to do so, and whenever I get the chance I just play a quick 5 min Blitz game.

I began my Chess campaign on Hive aiming to be a 1500 ELO rating player, and I am still far from that and we are already on the 9th month of the year. Even though I've gotten from 800 to 1200 on Rapid, I dropped to 950 a couple of months ago and I got so frustrated I completely stopped playing this format and focused on playing Blitz.

The reason I decided to play Blitz is to become better at pattern recognition as well as practice my decision making under a stressful time control. Today I had some time and I wanted to give this theory a run for its money and see if I can get back to my previous level of 1200 in Rapid.

I have no idea if I just got lucky or if this new approach to chess is working, but apparently I can win three games in a row against stronger players than me, be able to stop playing, and feel more comfortable with the game and play with more confidence.

It's a short video, I hope you like it and you enjoy the pace and the vibe, any feedback is appreciated!

I guess it is also much more difficult to get 1500 in chess.com vs. in Lichess.

I believe it is, I am around 1300 on Lichess Blitz and I'm around 1100 on chess.com, I've read there are some differences like that lichess allows you to premove without losing 0.1s and chess.com makes you lose 0.1 every move, but I haven't tried it.

Regarding lichess just as @wildthoughts say, the lag some times kills me because I'm used to chess.com, it is almost nonexistant, but that split second of lag throws me off when I'm in 10s endgames.

Personally, I think it's equivalent.
It's slightly easier on Lichess for sure but if you can get to 1500 in lichess you can surely do same on chess.com.

For me the slight difference isn't in strength though but network. I lag alot less on lichess in comparison to chess.com

Keep going! Chess.com is slightly harder than lichess but playing constantly you'll accomplish your goal
