I have rarely had a feeling of victory or a boost in my rating similar to what you see after a couple of hours playing bullet chess.
I always thought that I had certain shortcomings in the rapid chess mode but I thought that my rating was lower than I thought it really was.
And well, I started playing for a couple of hours when I got home after work, I wasn't very tired so I spent a couple of hours without raising my rating much.
To my surprise, I have gone up more than 100 points today and I have reached 2300, a goal that I set myself at the beginning of the year and it seems that I have already achieved it.
But watch out here, because bullet chess is usually much faster in terms of raising or lowering your rating so I am not too surprised to have achieved it.
What does surprise me is the ease of the opponents or the ease with which I have done it, without almost sweating too much and in just a couple of hours.
Now I am also considering dedicating at least a whole day to playing Blitz to see if I can reach the mark and We can finally set my goal for the year and raise it a little higher.
Maybe 2400 is a bit bold, especially since I don't train at all during the week, but I think it will be a good motivator to start rereading openings.
I'll leave you with some of the best games I played, and in fact some of them are absolute destructions to players above 2300.
I was surprised to see this and I hope it can be repeated in the Blitz mode, which is what I want to increase quite a bit, especially for the hivechess tournaments.
