♔ Chess Game Analysis of Herby vs Sawkito and LightEye vs Jaki01

Hello everyone, especially to the members of the #HiveChess Community! I'm releasing another post/video with some game analysis. I chose two games played in the recent community tournaments during the last two weeks. As you know, this type of analysis is intended to give some coaching to our players and offer training opportunities. Remember that the analysis of our games is absolutely important if we really want to improve and should not be disregarded.

The games chosen are @schamangerbert vs @sawko (AKA Herby and sawkito respectively on Lichess) played during the round 1 of the current season and @lighteye vs @jaki01 (AKA lighteye and jaki01 respectively on Lichess) from round 2, current season.

I selected these games on purpose because I want to help our amateur players when facing a strong opponent. So with some little preparation we can beat them and learn a few things in the process.

I think the video is self-explanatory, so I hope you enjoy watching it. Don't forget to sharing the post and the video and let me know what you think in the comments.

Thanks for that lesson, @eniolw, I am impressed that you’ve find a point of interest in a very short game ended with an obvious blunder :)

You are welcome! Yes, someone said that you can find brilliant moves in the games of either genius players or amateur players. I think it was Kasparov who said that, I can't remember.

Excelente análisis maestro

Gracias, Carlos!

wow! beautifully analyzed. i enjoyed every bit. Good Job

Thank you very much for appreciating it!

Big thanks for that outstanding video!! It helps a lot for understanding.

Thank you! I will bring more analysis videos.

Nimzowitsch Defense is the topic today in the tournament :)

Hey! I just read this. I was confused at the beginning of the tournament, I thought it was the Alekhine Defense. Playing thematic tournaments is cool. Keep it up. I'll do some analysis of the games when I get some time.

Next week is old benoni defense with 2. d5

Awesome analysis. This helps me a lot in playing against the Beno Gambit! Many thanks!

You're welcome! Yeah, the Benko Gambit is quite popular when playing blitz and Sawkito uses it a lot. It's good to have some preparation up your sleeve, although the one on the video was still a brief suggestion. We could go deeper on this later. Thanks.
