Hey, everybody! I'm sharing with you another of my Best Games played online on Lichess.org. This game has been selected using a series of criteria to consider it among the best games, to which I add my own subjective appreciation and comments. I hope you like it!

Englund Gambit Complex: Englund Gambit

This game features a countertrap to an opening trap by black. The second player wanted to give check on b4 with his queen if I defended the pawn on e5 with Bf4? So the thing is I instead replied with Nc3, forgetting about defending the extra pawn and continuing my development. The idea succeeded because my opponent did not retreat the queen to d8 but rather brought her in an adventure to the center which was wrong. But the thing is I was not precise, because at some moment my opponent had the astonishing move 10. Qxf4!! because he's getting the queen back with Nxf4 and Bb4+. So I thought I was properly punishing my rival's opening, but I missed that move. Fortunately he also missed that one and he ended up losing tons of material.
