Intro
I'd first give a quick gist of yesterday's Season 21 Hive Chess Tournament then I'd dive into today Saturday Hive chess Arena round 13.
Season 21 Hive Chess Tournament
I patiently waited. 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
Just kidding, I was definitely not patient, I was anticipating!!
My blood was hot for Season 21 each time I opened Hive.
Well, the wait came to an end as we kicked off the first round of the tournament yesterday. I was so thrilled when I saw @stayoutoftherz post on the tournament announcement.
It was really fun having to compete with fellow members of the blockchain team.
I couldn't write a review on the tournament yesterday because my tight schedule. I'd definitely make sure to document next weeks game.
Todays Saturday's Hive Chess Arena Round 13
Honestly, today game was quite hectic. Everyone was playing at their best. Almost all the players today were highly ranked so it was difficult landing points. I was able obtain a total of 11 points and I secured the 9th place out of 18 players on the leader board.
Oh, and @justfavour , I really was anticipating being paired with you. The algorithm has postponed our rematch ⚔

JUSTOLA VS SUMMISINEON1
I made sure not to underestimate this player like I did yesterday. I looked at his rating yesterday and ended up losing my match with him cos I was negligent. So today, I wanted to first test his ability so I didn't beserk
the first time we got paired. I accessed him as a good player but I know I could win if I slashed my time in half so I beserked the second time we got paired and I won.

JUSTFAVOUR VS SUMMISINEON1
I was curious as always and decided to look into everyone else's games. It seemed my friend @justfavour underestimated Summisineon1 like I did and lost a match. White opened with the Queen's Pawn Game and black responded with a beserk. Black had good positioning and moved his pieces meticulously but made a blunder that cost him his queen when white moved his Knight to e7. Losing a strong piece coupling with the time constraint led to blacks defeat.

SOUTHGAMER VS ODNOOBRAZ_BCM
I like to always learn from what the best is doing. I looked through the leaderboard and decided to pick a game he won with a strong opponent.
White berserked confidently with the Hungarian Opening but quickly ran into trouble after overextending with f5, which allowed Black to seize the initiative. White made the critical blunder on move b3.
Black, with the Symmetrical Variation, finished with a clean queen-and-rook mate on move 32.
