Welcome to the reminder post for round 19 of the HiveChess weekly tournament, held every Saturday.
As this season draws to a conclusion, I’d like to remind everyone that loves chess and want to see the community grow that their suggestions and advice goes a long way, so bring it on.

As usual, We have the Friday event. Tomorrow’s edition is a 2+1 bullet event which means beserking games will be very risky and in general games will end much quickly.

Prizes
I have distributed about 1,137 Hive approx. already.
As usual, The prize pool for this weekly tournament is 60 Hive with the new prize list as follows:
1st - 10 Hive
2nd - 8 Hive
3rd - 7 Hive
4th - 5 Hive
5th - 2.5 Hive
6th - 2.5 Hive
7th - 2.5 Hive
8th - 2.5 Hive
9th - 2.5 Hive
10th - 2.5 Hive
Best U2000 - 5 Hive
Best U1800 - 5 Hive
Best U1500 - 5 Hive
Sandbagging and cheating will lead to disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of the prize back into the prize pool for the next round.
Also you can only win one prize, If you qualify for two prizes, you win the higher prize. Don’t forget to drop your best games on the report post after the tournament so they can feature on Tuesday’s games showcase post! Players with games showcased share a beneficiary on that post provided you win!
New: There is a bonus of 2 HIVE for anyone who wins all their games, and 1 HIVE for players who remain undefeated (minimum of 7 games played), sponsored by @sammy00! Many thanks!

We play every Saturday at 15:00 GMT (Time Subjected to Review)
We play on an open-source chess application, www.lichess.org
To start up on Lichess, kindly read Introduction to Lichess Platform
Register with your Lichess username in the comment section if your name is not on the mention list.
Total play time is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Time control for the tournament varies with each round.
Feel free to write about your tournament experience and post the link in the comment. Quality posts will get curated. Alternatively, you can post on our Discord channel.
