Hello everyone,
Welcome to a new lecture from me, and this time on the harmony between chess pieces. This harmony that exists best chess pieces is what gives them more power compared to just a single piece. This is why two knights are powerful than a single rook and why two rooks are stronger than a queen. Not only are there two in number, but their value is as well.
Also, here is the thing: when combined, it becomes difficult for a single piece to defeat them, unlike when they are apart. This is the harmony I am referring to in the game. In this articl,e I will be using a game I played online where it was a battle of two pieces against one. I had two rooks against my opponent's queen.
Without wasting much of your time, I will be going straight into the action with this game, where the action is taking place. On move 20th, I went for the exchange of the other pieces for my queen, given that white had already sacrificed a piece earlier in the position, which gave me more confidence to go for the exchange. It was basically three pieces, the rook, bishop, and the previous bishop already sacrificed for my queen.

By move 26, it was already clear that this was a battle of two knights, a rook for me against my opponent's queen. What I needed next was to create harmony with the three pieces I have on the chessboard.

The simplest way to create harmony among your pieces will be to ensure there is a connection between the pieces in the form of defence. Look at how all my pieces are defending one another. The knights are defending one another, and one of the knights will do the same for the rook once I play Re7. Look at the position below for a better understanding.

By the time it was over, white ran out of moves while I got more moves up my sleeves. Like a passed pawn on the c-file, a combination of pieces with the pieces against the black pieces. Take a look at what harmony between your pieces can do for you.

At this point it was impossible to reject the possibility of a win because of the time and how strong my pieces are together. Harmony is one thing pieces need especially when launching an attack.
