Dear Chessfriends,
in round 2 we were only 11 players, but the average rating (1839) was higher than last time. This plus the very little time allowed per game was a recipe for some brutal battles and many blunders.
Nevertheless @jaki01 at the end could again leave as winner - congratulations!, although this time is was more tight and he turned at as not completely impregnable. Just by 1 point distance I was able to get the second place. And like last time I started off badly and then improved.
Third was @eniolw who started a little later and thus could play less games. Closely followed (same points) by @maciejficek (XM900) with his second best result in Hivechess as 4th! @yazp (zulukill) could only gain the fifth rank. The remaining tournament points went to @evgsk (evgchess) (6th), @rodrook (7th) and @rafaelaquino (ajedrezclub2t) (8th).

No changes in the top 3 ranks. Seems all 3 want to defend their positions and end up as price winners like in season 2. But @eniolw has good chances to have a say here, he jumped from the 11th to the 4th spot today. After him comes now a group of 4 players who all have 5 points. Just 2 rounds are played, everything is possible still!
