RE: Chess Puzzle of the Day (Feb 17, 2022) | Problema de ajedrez del día (17-Feb-2022)

  1. Bd4+ (king moves to h1)
  2. Bf5 (rook moves to d6)
  3. Re8 (taking the bishop)
  4. Re1 (checkmate)

I think? Pretty sure that works... the white rook could move to f6 on move 2, but I would just take it with my bishop on d4. I'm just starting to take chess more seriously, and I really do !LUV it. Thanks for sharing these problems... I try to do them on chess.com too. Lots of fun. 🤓

I'm glad you like these puzzles. I try to vary the level quite often, so sometimes they're hard, moderate or easy, you know, not everyone is a master here :) On your solution, that's right, but what if white plays something like 3. Rg5?
