Greetings my wonderful friends on #Realtalk, am glad to participate on this week's prompt and the topic is a very interesting one write on.
The journey in this 2025 has been full of struggles and joy mixed together. As I sit down and try to reflect on my journey so far starting from January till date, I can say it has no been a smooth and soft one at all, the tears, the pain, the discouragement, the suffering in this country where everyday things keep getting bad, the prices of things keep going up, what of the kidnapping, robbery and the government are not helping matter. But in all these wahala I can rise my head and with a heart full of gratitude and say thank God for everything and for the gift of life which he has given me and my family.
The journey has not been terrifying, the fear of loosing, the struggle of accomplishing my goals, the time I feel am not doing well comparing myself to my friends success and achievement thinking that Iife has failed . The fear of relocating to another city and the same time loosing my job, not knowing how to start all over again drains me mentally and emotionally. I was hopeless not knowing what the future and the world holds for me.
But in the midst of all these chaos, there are moments of happiness and joy that encouraged me to keep striving. The Joy of meeting new friends at my new house and the good facilities in the house. The joy I have for not missing the opportunity to join this hive platform, looking at my progress so far makes me feel good and am grateful and delighted each time as I overcome life challenges and trials.
As I say goodbye to 2025 that has few days to go,it reflects me joyful days, bitter days, fears and doubts of the unknown. The lessons learnt and how resilience I am today and above all, it reminds me to be grateful to God for his goodness and his presence in all my endeavors, for not giving up and hopefully knowing that there are better and beautiful things that awaits me next year.
For my friends here who thought that they are alone in this, that has lost all hope and thinking that this year was not favourable to them. Don't give up on yourself and as the year ends, know that this is not the end of your life for you and next year will embrace with multiple blessings and bountiful opportunities okay.
