I have to confess that it's been frustrating dealing with internet services, here in my city, especially at my office location, Azikiwe Road. The activity of these network service providers has gone from bad to worse.
In fact, having a stable network connection here is almost like a battle. It's even worse since the issue is the same with almost all the providers. I've tried different providers - MTN, Airtel, GLO Mobile, but the experience remains the same – poor network connection, slow speeds, and frustrating downtime.
Most times, the connection goes off for as long as I can remember. It barely connects, sometimes not even for minutes. Should I even talk about the annoying voice prompt, "the number you've dialled is currently unavailable or not reachable", you get when trying make a call. Arrrgh!
With the way things are, having a stable network connection feels like a luxury. To stay connected, one might need to own multiple devices and then subscribe to various network providers. This means juggling multiple SIM cards, data plans, and voice subscriptions – a costly and inconvenient option. Unfortunately, this has become the norm for many people.
To think that there's a regulatory body, Nigerian Communications Commission, yet these network providers underdeliver, is rather unfortunate. Oh, seems like I forgot that they can't do when fat envelopes have been passed around in the government quarters and upper chamber.
Upon their inefficiency and poor quality services, they're all about sending compliments and messages regarding the "Customer Service Week". Imagine calling Airtel's customer care line this morning to lay a complaint about my inability to connect to the internet for close to an hour, and I was serenaded with "Happy Customer Service Week" greetings. The heck.
Well, I cut the customer care person off before she could even finish with the compliment. Lol. Like seriously, what exactly is happy about the customer service week when the customers can't enjoy a seamless internet experience and voice, at least for this week that it's being held.
Shey no be when dem wan celebrate person, dem go treat am well ni? But our own na "frustracion" dem dey serve us. O gah o. 😂

That's network provider for you everything is been rigged it really annoying when trying to call someone and couldn't reach I suspect it your mass in the area cause the only network going fine and well over here is MTN no matter the distance it seems fine but too expensive if I may changing location might just be a good thing
Using MTN service is generally expensive. I rarely use it for data or voice sub because it's as if it milks the data and airtime. Things would have been better if the regulatory body did their work. But no, they won't because they live off these network service providers.

I have battling with the similar issue as well but mine I think the yellow network does a bit better than the rest 🥹🥹
Well, I wouldn't know cos I rarely use it. The tariff is much.

Seems like it's a general issue. They've seen that we don't really have a choice but to continue using them that's why they operate any how.
