It is true what they say the people closest to you can be the biggest strangers. I’ve learned the hard way and have experienced who people truly are through friends, family, and loved ones.

From my own experience, I have learned that sincerity has a strange power of bringing people true character and when you lower your guard around them they tend to show their true selves.
I remembered a time when I got employed as a manager of a filling station even before I applied for the position. Before that, I was just a fuel attendant barely a month in the job I was called to go manage a filling station at another location. It felt like a big change for me.
When I arrived there most of the workers there were older than me, I was young eager to improve show my worth, I believe kindness and humble would earn me my loyalty. But I soon it dont always work loke that whenever you are in a position like that people tends to be envious of you simply because you are their boss.
Not long after I hired a personal assistant someone I thought I could trust. We worked closely together, shared ideas l, and I even taught him how we tracked profits and managed the business, I saw him as loyal someone I could count on. but I was wrong.
What I didn't know it was the same person that have been feeding my boss information behind my back. He wasn't loyal he was just jealous of my position. One day a small argument between us it was the perfect opportunity for him to expose me. My boss got involved i didn't realize it was all part of a plan a set up to make me look like the victim.
Eventually the truth came out everything was revealed I lost the job ironically he also lost the job thinking he would be back up by the boss.
This experience taught me something important the people closest to you can be the one who hurt you the most. Betrayal doesn't always comes from your enemies it often comes from those who once smiled with you. Trust is precious and it easy to be broken it is fragile.
