Better to Die Trying Than Live Regretting
Life often puts us at a crossroads one path safe and predictable, the other uncertain but filled with possibility.Most people choose the comfort of what they know, afraid to stumble, fail, or be judged. But others take the leap, believing that even failure is better than the slow death of never trying.
At some point, we all stand before that choice should we play it safe, or risk it all for what could be.
Regret is a quiet poison. It doesn’t shout it whispers. It reminds you of the “what ifs” that could have been, the dreams you buried out of fear, the courage you never used.Failure may sting for a moment, but regret lingers for a lifetime.
We see this story play out every day
A dreamer gives up on their art to chase stability, only to look back years later and wonder, “What if I had kept going?”
A young person risks everything to start a business or career they fall hard, but rise stronger, with no regrets.
Someone stays in a toxic relationship, afraid of being alone, and ends up regretting the years they’ll never get back.
Another packs their bags, changes paths, or moves to a new city and discovers the freedom they always wanted. And in our digital world, the same truth echoes here on the Hive blockchain. Some people scroll and watch quietly, afraid to post, thinking their voice won’t matter. Others take a chance they write, create, share, and connect and before long, that single risk turns into growth, friendship, and opportunity. Because on Hive, like in life, the only way to find your value is to show up and try.
Still, the question remains:
Is it bravery to take the leap, or foolishness to chase a dream that might break you?
Is trying and failing truly better than staying comfortable and wondering forever? Or is real wisdom knowing which battles, goals, or dreams are worth risking it all for?
Some say, “Failure teaches more than fear ever could.”
Others say, “Regret is the heaviest burden you’ll ever carry.”
Remember this is just a guide...
