*Full disclosure, I misspoke with reference to the Japanese YEN currency movement. It is continuing to strengthen against the US Dollar and it has been strengthening despite their easy money policy. The demographics are indeed causing this and causing folks to save because it offers a better prospect of growth than riskier assets in their economy.
