Suddenly, some soldiers came towards me, "Hey Bar'Abbas." I looked up with a half closed, well beaten eye and through burstee lips I smothered a "Yesh".
"Loose him" the soldier said as they loosed my bands from the stake and dragged me towards the balcony where another man was being tried with so many people protesting against him. I feared for my life, because that would be me in few minutes.
"He is a liar" one said, another screamed.. "He is a false prophet".. He is not our King.. , I thought "Who is this man and why is he so hated, Has he done more evil than me?
Just then Pilate signals them to bring me. "No something doesn't feel right".. " Up you go murderer" . . As the Soldiers pushed me towards Pilate.
"So far I have asked you all what wrong this man has done, and no one has been able to prove a thing, and yet you won't let me release him to you", But I want to please you and someone has to go home tonight.. Who would it be.. Jesus The King of the Jews or Jesus Bar'Abbas?
"This man did no provable wrong?
Hehe.. Not me..These people have loads of evidence against me. I am definitely condemned already.
Then the massive crowd screamed, Bar'Abbas, Bar'Abbas. Release Bar'Abbas.
I was shocked and happy at the same time, I look at this Man, and in that instant, I saw myself in Him. I am the sinner, but he has become my sins.

The chains fell off as Pilate signaled and I walked free. I looked at this man and he looked at me.

It was at the point Bar'Abbas knew. Being tried for murder and now free, he was better off than all of them. Even he wouldn't kill an innocent man, but those people were ready to bear his blood on them.
