My name is Georgeneer and I am delighted to be a part of this family.
My onboarding session today was smooth and easy to understand. I had a great time with @beauty197 at Hub More Supermarket.
I had to complete the onboarding process to follow up my interest in Hive and be known as an active content creator, sharing views and gaining insights from fellow hiveans. For people to know me as a real user, I had to set up my profile by providing details like my profile name, profile picture, location, interest and introduction.
Below are the steps I followed to complete the process with images to illustrate:
After downloading ecency, I set up my account by creating a user or profile name, georgeneer.
I clicked add account
I added my username and my private posting key to log in
Next, I went to settings, then I clicked on profile and clicked edit

After I clicked edit, I was given options to add my profile picture, my cover image and I also wrote a brief description about my blog stating my location and interest.
After filling up the necessary details, I clicked save.
My blog will be about sharing my interests like cooking and education, my hobbies like reading literature, activities and lifestyle around family and positive thoughts.
Trying out waves
After completing my setup process, I created my first short content on waves by clicking the waves icon on the ecency app.
Next, I went to What is happening.
I then created my first wave short content and published it.
I have completed my first two tasks which are
Setting up my profile picture and trying out short form content on waves.
Subsequently, I will try other tasks and publish them so as to learn more about hive.
