I was really nervous yesterday morning, but I managed to not eat anything and just took my medicine (because I have a chronic condition). I was hungry, so I drank water.
Well, it was time to go, so I left. I have osteoarthritis in my left knee, so I was a little worried about walking from Hachiman to the endoscopy clinic near the Miyagi Museum of Art. I wondered if my knee would hold up. In the end, it was fine. Maybe it was because of the compress I was given by the orthopedic clinic.
As for the examination, first my blood pressure was taken, and it was a little high at 140. Maybe I was nervous.
Then, the examination finally began. The nurse gave me some medicine to clean my stomach, which I took, and sprayed a medicine to anesthetic my throat.
I lay down on the examination table and waited for the doctor to come. The doctor came. This endoscopy clinic is considerate of the patients so that they don't feel too much pain, and he uses a thin camera. The examination only takes 5 minutes.
It's finally started. I gagged as the camera went down my throat, but the rest was smooth. I heard the beeping sound as it took the pictures. When the camera reached my stomach, I felt like my stomach was bloated, but it was quickly pulled out and the procedure was over.
After it was over, I gargled and waited in the waiting room on the second floor. My name was called and the doctor told me the results. He said there were a lot of fundic gland polyps in my stomach, but there was no cancer in my esophagus, so there was nothing to worry about. I was told to come back around April next year.
So once it was over, there was no problem.

昨日、すごく朝に緊張していましたが、なんとか食べないで過ごし、薬だけ飲みました（持病があるので）。お腹が空いたので水を飲みました。
さて、時間になったので出発しました。私は左膝が変形性関節症なので八幡から宮城県美術館近くの内視鏡内科に歩いていくのがちょっと心配でした。膝がもちこたえるかなと。結果的に大丈夫でした。整形外科で出していただいている湿布のおかげでしょうか。
そして、検査の方ですが、最初に血圧を計って、上が140と少し高めでした。緊張しているのでしょうか。
そしていよいよ検査です。看護師さんから胃をきれいにする薬をもらって飲んで、喉を麻酔する薬をスプレーされました。
検査台に横になって、先生が来るのを待ちました。先生が来ました。この内視鏡内科は、患者さんの苦痛が少ないよう気遣ってくれて、カメラも細めのものを使っています。検査時間はたったの5分です。
いよいよ始まりました。喉を通る時はおえっとなりました。あとはスムーズです。写真を撮るピー、ピーという音が聞こえます。カメラが胃に達するとお腹がはったような感じがしますが、すぐカメラが引き抜かれて終わりました。
終わったあと、うがいをして2階の待合室で待っていました。名前を呼ばれて先生に結果を告げられました。胃底腺ポリープがいっぱいあって、食道にもがんはない、大丈夫だと言われました。来年の4月頃にまた来てくださいと言われました。
ということで終わってしまえば問題ありませんでした。
