Until now, I thought selling paintings at physical galleries sold better, but that wasn't really the case. I wondered if online sales just didn't work, but people I know are selling their work well online. I realized I'd just been slacking off with my online shop sales, so I decided to try again.
First, I re-uploaded my mixed media pieces to Saatchi Art. There's a lot of data to input?titles, prices, sizes, descriptions?and I always gave up halfway before. That's why they didn't sell, I realized. This time, I resolved to push through, from photographing the pieces to entering all the data.
Then I uploaded my watercolor and oil pastel drawings on paper to ArtPal, a marketplace. For now, I'm only listing reproductions there. But they're relatively affordable, and I think they'd be great framed.
I also reopened my UP-T service, which prints my paintings and illustrations onto goods like T-shirts, even just one piece. I already had images uploaded for this.

今まではリアルのギャラリーで絵を展示販売する方がよく売れると思っていたが、それほどでもなかった。オンラインでは売れないのではないかと思ったが、私の知り合いなんかは作品がよく売れている。私は単にオンラインショップでの販売をサボっていただけだと思い、もう一度頑張ろうと思った。
まずミクストメディアの作品をSaatchi Artにアップしなおした。タイトルや価格、サイズ、作品説明など入力するデータがたくさんあって、今まではいつも途中で挫折していた。だから売れなかったんだと思い、今度こそ画像の撮影からデータ入力から、頑張ろうと思った。
それから紙に水彩とオイルパステルによるドローイング作品はArtPalというマーケットプレイスにアップした。こちらは今のところ複製画のみとした。でも比較的安価で、額装もできていいのではないかと思う。
さらにUP-Tという、自分の絵やイラストをＴシャツなどのグッズに１枚から印刷してくれるサービスを再び公開した。これは既に画像をアップしていた。
