Hello everyone!
Today I come to tell you about my experience and opinion with another of those anime that most of you already know at least by name, and that this as such was my first anime that I intentionally watched, even before Sword Art Online.
Death Note comes from the manga created by Tsugumi Oba, it's actually believed to be a pseudonym of the author, but to not complicate things I will call him that way, which managed to make the manga have readers hooked, and we could say that converting to anime deserves a lot of credit, and I'll explain why later.
The story stars Light Yagami, a student who one day finds a notebook on the floor with the words "DEATH NOTE" on the cover, and inside it had rules written, these rules are written in English, but since Light is almost a genius this isn't a problem for him. In a very summarized way, if you write the name of a person in the notebook, that person will die in the next 40 seconds, for this to work you must know the name and keep in mind the face of the person, that way those with the same name will not suffer the same fate.
The default is a heart attack, but you can choose the cause of death, for example, hit by a truck, or that said person commits suicide, as long as you write it down within the time established by the rules of the notebook.
"A pretty silly joke" Light thought, but curiosity got the better of him and he decided to try it just to prove it was false, to his surprise, it wasn't.
If it weren't real we wouldn't have such a great story though, so good for us, to finish off before Light a Shinigami called Ryuk appears, the Shinigamis are "gods of death", each one has a Death Note in which they write the names of the people who will die, and it's Ryuk who's responsible for a Death Note having fallen into the human world, however, that Light has picked it up is mere coincidence.
In order to not turn this post into a synopsis, let's speed up the facts.
Light begins to clean the city of criminals, the police realize this and begin to investigate why so many people die, and the plot twist arrives when we are shown that the person in charge of the investigation of the so-called "Kira" is the father of Light, the “criminal” he is looking for, was always in his own home.
The case of Kira (Light) scales to the level that the most recognized private investigator in the world, only called "L" takes action on the matter, and from here the story becomes a battle of engineering between Light and L.
Now speaking of its adaptation to anime as such, imagine adapting a manga about a student who writes in a notebook, the animation was in charge of Studio Madhouse, and as anyone who has already seen the anime can see, the work was admirable.
The animation, in addition to being good, incorporated a suitable soundtrack for the corresponding scenes, themes for each character that make them identifiable, and in a certain way “remind” of said character, such as the theme of L or the theme of Light, both very good and that you can listen on YouTube.
Never seeing a pencil move on the paper caused so much anxiety or in general, never caused so much "effect" on the public, and that in certain scenes of the story is crucial, in addition to of course maintaining the drama.
When I was a teenager, it seemed like a very good story and quite compelling, even today it still is, because it's an anime that I have already watched about 3 times, in Latin Spanish dubbing and in Japanese with subtitles, the latter being the which I consider superior, since in my opinion it's always better to experience things in the original language that they were intended for.
I make a parenthesis to mention Coco, the Pixar film, since being based on Mexican culture, but being made based on English, the perfect way to see it is with its dubbing in Latin Spanish, or at least it's my opinion, but let's continue with the main topic.
I have no negative point to highlight to the story, because I consider that all its elements work well, but if someone has a different opinion, you can express it with pleasure.
As with SAO, I recommend Death Note to those looking to get into anime, especially since it's a story with a more serious tone than average, personally I'm a huge fan of this type of story. And with nothing more to say here I say goodbye, thank you for your time.

Hola nuevamente a todos.
Hoy vengo a contarles mi experiencia y opinión con otro de esos animes que ya la mayoría conoce al menos de nombre, y que este como tal sí fue mi primer anime que vi intencionalmente, aún antes de Sword Art Online.
Death Note proviene del manga creado por Tsugumi Oba, en realidad se cree que es un seudónimo del autor, pero para no complicar las cosas lo llamaré así, el cual se las arregló para que el manga tuviera atrapados a los lectores, aunque podríamos decir que la conversión a anime merece mucho mérito, y pasaré a explicar por qué más adelante.
La historia la protagoniza Light Yagami, un estudiante que un día se encuentra en el suelo una libreta con las palabras “DEATH NOTE” en la portada, y en el interior tenía escritas unas reglas, dichas reglas están escritas en inglés, pero dado que Light es casi un genio pues esto no es problema para él. De forma muy resumida, si escribes el nombre de una persona en la libreta, dicha persona morirá en los próximos 40 segundos, para que esto funcione debes conocer el nombre y tener en mente la cara de la persona, de otra forma aquellos con el mismo nombre no padecerán el mismo destino.
Lo estándar es un ataque al corazón, pero se puede elegir la causa de la muerte, por ejemplo, atropellado por un camión, o que dicha persona cometa suicidio, siempre y cuando lo escribas dentro del tiempo establecido por las reglas de la libreta.
"Una broma bastante tonta" pensó Light, pero la curiosidad lo venció y decidió intentarlo solo para comprobar que era falso, para su sorpresa, no lo era.
Y es que si no fuera real no tendríamos historia, así que bien por nosotros, para rematar ante Light aparece un Shinigami llamado Ryuk, los Shinigamis son dioses de la muerte, cada uno posee una Death Note en la cual escriben los nombres de las personas a las que les corresponde morir, y es Ryuk el responsable de que una Death Note haya caído al mundo humano, sin embargo, que Light la haya recogido es mero azar.
Para no convertir este post en una sinopsis, aceleremos los hechos.
Light empieza a limpiar la ciudad de criminales, la policía se percata de esto y empieza a investigar por qué tanta gente muere, y el plot twist llega cuando se nos muestra que el encargado de la investigación del llamado “Kira”, es el padre de Light, el “criminal” que busca siempre estuvo en su propia casa.
El caso de Kira (Light) escala al nivel que el investigador privado más reconocido del mundo, solo llamado “L” toma cartas en el asunto, y desde aquí la historia se convierte en una batalla de ingeio entre Light y L.
Ahora sí hablando de su adaptación al anime como tal, imaginen adaptar un manga sobre un estudiante que escribe en una libreta, la animación quedó a cargo del estudio Madhouse, y como cualquiera que ya haya visto el anime puede comprobar, el trabajo fue admirable.
La animación además de ser buena, incorporaba una banda sonora idonea para las escenas correspondientes, temas para cada personaje que los hacen identificables, y de cierta forma “recuerdan” a dicho personaje, como el tema de L o el tema de Light, ambos muy buenos y que pueden escuchar en este post.
Nunca ver un lapiz moverse sobre el papel causó tanta ansiedad o en general, nunca causó tanto “efecto” sobre el público, y eso en ciertas escenas de la historia es crucial, además de por supuesto mantener el drama.
Cuando yo era una adolescente, me pareció una historia buenísima y bastante atrapante, aún a día de hoy lo sigue siendo, pues es un anime que he visto ya unas 3 veces, en doblaje latino y en el idioma original subtitulado, siendo este último el que considero superior, dado que en mi opinión siempre es mejor experimentar las cosas en el idioma original que fueron pensadas.
Hago un paréntesis para mencionar Coco, la película de Pixar, dado que al ser basada en la cultura mexicana, pero ser hecha en base al inglés, la forma perfecta de verla es con su doblaje en español latino, o al menos es mi opinión, pero sigamos con el tema principal.
No tengo ningún punto negativo el cual destacarle a la historia, pues considero que todos sus elementos funcioan bien, pero si alguien tiene una opinión diferente puede expresarla con gusto.
Al igual que con SAO, lo recomiendoa quienes busquen introducirse en el anime, sobre todo porque se trata de una historia con un tono más serio que el promedio, personalmente soy muy fan de este tipo de historias. Y sin nada más que decir aquí me despido, gracias por su tiempo.

A mí me encantó esta serie, a pesar de que el final no me dejó satisfecho. Pero toda la trama y la animación es excelente.
