Just when it seemed we'd reached the lowest point of the entire series, when it seemed there was a chance for redemption and to finish the most important arc of the manga in a slightly more dignified way, they take all that and throw it in the trash again with an episode that has been the final straw and the one that has turned most viewers and critics against this disastrous season.
When the third season of One Punch Man was announced, many fans felt that the visual disaster left by the second season would finally be corrected. After all, the manga was at one of its most epic points. But still, here we are: the third season ended up becoming a bottomless pit for everything.
The animation quality of the first season, produced by Madhouse, set an incredibly high visual standard: fluid movements, choreography, and art direction that delivered. It was an adaptation that became a benchmark the moment it was released. Since then, anything that didn't reach that level was going to feel like a step backward.
The second season had already foreshadowed the artistic decline to come. The studio behind it was no longer the same, but rather a less experienced one. The geniuses of the first season were gone, and consequently, it fell quite short compared to the first. To be honest, the first time I saw it, I felt... Disappointed
Again, I think there was no way this wouldn't be a downgrade from what was already there, but the third season has been somehow more disappointing than I expected. Bad designs, bad animation, and I think even the composition and scenes have been quite poor. Regular
Some of the scenes I've found, especially in the most anticipated fights of the season, are... quite shady in many ways. Some criticize it, saying it's a PNG dragged across a background, and surprisingly, they're not wrong. They really cut a lot of costs.
And it's hard not to blame the animators for this. I think the entire production is awful in many ways: the lack of time, the director, Namco behind it all wanting to maximize profits—it's a A disaster in every way, to the point that I think they should remake the season with better animation.
There's not much more to say; it's bad. There are moments where it seems to improve, where it seems like they're finally taking it seriously, but it's just an illusion. It's all behind a... A huge deception that I just hope ends soon. They should take a moment to reflect on what they've received from the public and do better next time. We waited six years for this.

Cuando parecia que habiamos llegado al punto mas bajo de toda la serie, cuando parecia que habia una oportunidad de redencion y de terminar el arco mas importante del manga de una forma que fuese un poco mas digna, agarran todo eso y lo tiran a la basura nuevamente con un capitulo que ha sido la gota que derrama el vaso y el que pone a la mayoria de los viewers y criticos en contra de esta nefasta temporada
Cuando se anunció la tercera temporada de One Punch Man, muchos fans sintieron que por fin se corregiría el desastre visual que dejó la segunda entrega. Después de todo, el manga estaba en uno de sus puntos más épicos, Pero aun así, aquí estamos: la tercera temporada terminó convirtiéndose en un pozo sin fondo para todo.
La calidad de animación de la primera temporada, producida por Madhouse, estableció un estándar visual altísimo: movimientos fluidos, coreografías y una dirección artística que dio la talla. Fue una adaptación que se convirtió en referencia al instante que salio. Desde entonces, cualquier cosa que no alcanzara ese nivel se iba a sentir como un retroceso.
La segunda temporada ya habia dado un aviso de los bajones artisticos que iban a llegar, ya no estaba el mismo estudio detras sino otro un poco menos experimentado, no estaban los genios que habian en ese entonces por lo tanto cayó bastante bajo si la comparamos con la primera, la verdad es que la primera vez que la vi si me senti decepcionado
De nuevo creo que no habia una forma en la que esto no fuese un downgrade de lo que ya habia pero la tercera temporada ha sido de alguna forma mas decepcionante de lo que esperaba, malos diseños, mala animacion y creo que incluso la composicion y las escenas han sido bastante regulares
Algunas de las escenas que me he conseguido, en especial en las peleas mas esperadas de la temporada son... bastante turbias en muchos sentidos, algunos lo critican diciendo que es un PNG que arrastraron por un fondo y es sorprendente decir que no se equivocan, en verdad cortaron muchos gastos
Y es dificil no culpar a los animadores en esta, creo que toda la produccion es horrible de muchas formas, la falta de tiempo, el director, Namco detras de todo queriendo maximizar beneficios, es un desastre en todas las direcciones a tal punto que creo que deberian hacer un remake de la temporada con una mejor animacion
No hay mucho mas que decir, es mala, hay momentos en donde parece que mejora, parece que ahora si se lo toman en serio, pero es solo un espejismo, todo está detras de un gran engaño que solo espero que termine ya, se tomen un momento para reflexionar lo que han recibido del publico y lo hagan mejor para la proxima, 6 años se esperó esto
Ese es todo el desahogo de hoy, espero que puedan leerse el manga o el webcomic que creo son los mejores materiales para conocer la historia mas a fondo, vale la pena pero el anime se ha encargado de dar todo por perdido
I cannot even express my disappointment with season 3. For the sake of the show, they should stop the release, change the producer and actually animate it. The manga has 35 million+ (or maybe the figures even have surpassed) sales to date and the previous two seasons were incredible.
And the wait for 6 entire years to watch this 3rd season (as you said, bottomless pit for everything), Oh My! Then, it came out with this hot mess is insane. It does not even look like the same show anymore. King has a completely different face, entire scenes are one frame, the art style has cheapened, the character movements. Let's just pretend that the fight scenes are any good either; it is just repeating the same sequences we saw a couple of seconds ago.

Horrible cuando toman algo que venía bien y poco a poco lo van llevando al matadero. De este anime había escuchado cosas muy buenas tras su primera temporada; ahora no me atrevo a darle una oportunidad.
la primera temporada es una obra maestra en todo sentido pero la segunda y en especial la tercera bajaron mucho la vara

STOPNo sabía que tenía 3 temporada, pero por lo que veo no es tan prometedora..
Literalmente es La Decepción de la Temporada, no, del Año, de la Década inclusive. Una obra con tanto potencial como lo es One Punch Man convertido en esto en su tercera y más esperada temporada es de lo peor que se puede experimentar en esta vida como fan, de verdad.
No puedo estar más de acuerdo con todo lo que dices en este post.
