One Piece is back after a week off, this chapter was good, but at the epicness level of the chapters of a few weeks ago. This chapter is specially focused on Sanji being a bit humiliated by Black Maria.
One Piece 1005 "Demon Child" begins by showing us Sanji trapped in Black Maria's web, who demands the Straw Hat gang member to ask Robin to come to his rescue. However, Sanji still resists and Black Maria begins to beat him mercilessly.
Sanji still resists Black Maria's beating, to the point that even Black Maria's group of women are impressed and feel sorry for him. The beating is great.
However, against all odds, Sanji surprises everyone and calls Nico Robin to help him.
Through the characters and animals that have that sheet of paper with an eye drawn on the face, Sanji's message of help is transmitted throughout the island. We see X-Drake together with Hyoguro fighting against Apoo and the beast pirates. We can also see Chopper working on the antidote to the virus that Queen created and even some members of Law's gang.
But we also see Marco fighting against King, Jinbei vs Whos Who, Franky vs Sasaki. And at Sanji's words, Marco says that "those guys are funny".
We also get to see Nami who laments that Sanji's opponent is female (since Sanji doesn't hit women) and Usopp spotting one of those animals with a sheet of paper in the face with the eye.
However, we also see a "mysterious" leg, which is in front of Black Maria's place. One of Black Maria's subordinates informs her that someone is approaching the place. And we can also see other men who, like Sanji, were caught by Black Maria. But when Black Maria was about to attack Sanji again...
Surprisingly, with the ability "Gigantic Hand", Robin hits Black Maria very hard, managing to throw a few meters away. Robin arrived on the scene to save his partner Sanji.
But Robin did not come alone, as she arrived with Brook, who using his ice skills, managed to break the web that was holding Sanji and breaking the web traps that were at the entrance.
Sanji, now freed, sets out to help the "red pods" and leaves Black Maria with Robin and Brook. Robin thanks Sanji for having trusted her.
They change scenes and this time we are with Yamato, Shinobu and Momonosuke. Yamato explains the usefulness of those animals with sheets of paper on their faces. They are called Marys and are cyborgs that are scattered all over the island, which with that sheet of paper are able to transmit audio and vision to the other human Marys.
However, they were found by Kaido's pirates, who are trying to break the door. But before they could enter, Yamato and Shinobu surprisingly counterattack.
Again they switch places and this time we see Jack, who has recovered from the battle, although he seems to have lost an eye and one of his horns was "repaired". Jack sets out to eliminate the "red pods" and tells Black Maria that he is going to take care of it.
The chapter ends with Black Maria who has removed the top of her Kimono, revealing a tattoo which means "Women Trouble" and wielding a rather strange but very impressive weapon due to its design. Black Maria tells Robin that she is going to belong to Kaido, but Robin replies with a smile that she would rather die, while we see Brook quite happy for what she is seeing in front of him (boobs).
