Incredible how a few decades ago it was normal to offer a daughter to pay off a debt or to secure a stable economic position. I don't think they still do that today but it wouldn't surprise me, but luckily for these protagonists it wasn't all bad 👏
Sometimes you don't need a super elaborate anime in terms of animation to give an important message or a beautiful and entertaining story. From what I read, it looks really good ❤️ thank you for bringing this review 😊
it's amazing how society's perception of what is good or bad has changed so much, nowadays it's even illegal. you're right, many times the story and the background end up being more moving than the animation or the elaboration of it.
