I heard a lot about that series when I was in high school, but I never actually watched it. I've heard the song before, but only through memes like african lore, spiderman depresion, other similar things that are pure brain rot, and also through a cover in Spanish that a friend of mine gave me some time ago.
There was a time when being youtuber loquendero was very popular and many of them used Kaneki as their "character", it was very common to use anime protagonists of that style. It's been a while hahaha
