DB is a unique brand despite its simplicity. A normal title would have been forgotten many times over, while Toriyama's work will likely outlive its author. We still don't know what's going on with the manga, and don't listen to anyone who claims they do but won't provide a link. These kinds of things are always done in a hurry to avoid reopening the wounds. Sometimes it takes a shorter time, sometimes longer. Speaking from experience, it's better to come to an agreement once and for all than to prolong it. The break will still be there, and so will the changes to the original story. However, the resulting crap can stick to your shoe for years and stink even longer. Especially in Japan, a remarkably conservative and strange country.
On January 25th, there will be an event featuring Masako Nozawa (legendary voice actress) and Akiyo Iyoku. You might not recognize this gentleman. He's the CEO of Capsule Corporation Tokyo – the company that owns the copyrights to the DB anime and games. The manga is copyrighted by Shuiesha. If you dislike DB for its repetitiveness and, like me, complained about DB Daim, then we get that thanks to him XD. Am I happy? Hell no, not XD. But I'll say this, if this guy doesn't touch any TV series and just sticks to movies, then maybe. It's harder to ruin a movie than a series. Besides, the Twitter profile name has also changed. A new game and two additional projects have been announced.
As for games, I don't expect a sequel to FighterZ. It's still squeezable, which doesn't change the fact that we'll probably get a sequel. I heard rumors about Xenoverse 3 in various places a little over six months ago. I bet it's in development, but no one has announced it yet. Why would they? The sequel is still making money. Kakarotto and Sparkling Zero? Apparently they're selling too, but I wouldn't want sequels. Both games are fundamentally bad, and they're incredibly cheap. I don't think they'll make a non-fighting game. A few games have come out recently that were of varying quality, but definitely weren't huge hits. The creators haven't said whether it will be a major title like the one mentioned above, or something like Gekishin Squadra. Besides, they are going to announce all sorts of crap, so I assume another worthless DLC - pay 20 dollars for an extra hour of fun XD.
Regarding these "big projects"... DBS Season 2 is out because Shuiesha has the copyrights under wraps, and there's no way they'll release it now. The anime would catch up to the manga too quickly. Besides, as I wrote in the introduction, DB fans are immune to such shenanigans. After all, we've been waiting for Beerus movies for years. It'll definitely be a movie, but what's next? It would be great if they made some spin-offs. DB has enormous and completely untapped potential in this area. Roshi and Crane's youth. The divine characters. Beerus's past. Vegeta's life with Bulma. The destruction of Namek, and much more. Just please don't make shit like Daima. I understand you didn't want to touch the plot after Toriyama's sudden death, but Daima is so pathetic that everything else in DB history is significantly better.

DB to wyjątkowa marka mimo swojej prostoty. Normalny tytuł zostałby już kilka razy zapomniany, a dzieło Toriyamy prawdopodobnie przeżyje swojego autora. Nadal nie wiemy, co się dzieje z mangą i nie słuchajcie nikogo, kto twierdzi że wie, ale nie chce podać linka. Tego typu sprawy zawsze robi się na gorąco, by nie otwierać ran po raz drugi. Czasem trwa to krócej, czasem dłużej. Mówiąc z doświadczenia, lepiej jest jak dogadają się raz na twardo niż gdyby mieli to wydłużyć. Przerwa i tak będzie, zmiany względem pierwotnej historii też. Za to gówno wynikłe z tej sytuacji, potrafi przylepić się do buta na wiele lat, a śmierdzieć jeszcze dłużej. Tym bardziej w Japonii, wybitnie konserwatywnym i dziwnym kraju.

Jeśli nie lubicie DB za powtarzalność i podobnie jak ja, narzekaliście na DB Daima, to dostajemy to dzięki niemu XD. Czy się cieszę? Za cholerę nie XD. Ale powiem tak, jeśli ten pan nie będzie dotykał żadnej serii TV tylko ograniczy się do filmów, to może być. Trudniej zepsuć film niż serial. Poza tym zmieniła się też nazwa profilu na Twitterze. Zapowiedziano nową grę i 2 dodatkowe projekty.
Jeśli chodzi o gry, nie spodziewam się sequela do FighterZ. Nadal można ją wycisnąć jak cytrynę, co nie zmienia faktu, że raczej dostaniemy sequel. O Xenoverse 3 słyszałem plotki w różnych miejscach już nieco ponad pół roku temu. Strzelam, że prace trwają, ale nikt go jeszcze nie zapowie. Bo po co? Druga część gry ciągle zarabia. Kakarotto i Sparkling Zero? Podobno też się sprzedają, ale nie chciałbym dostać ich sequeli. Obie gry są złe u samych podstaw, a do tego są cholernie tanie. Raczej nie sądzę, by zrobili nie-bijatykę. Ostatnio wyszło kilka gierek, które miały różny poziom, ale na pewno nie były dużym hitem. Twórcy nie powiedzieli, czy to będzie duży tytuł jak w/w, czy coś jak Gekishin Squadra. Poza tym, mają ogłosić różne pierdoły, czyli zakładam kolejne bezwartościowe DLC - zapłać 20 dolarów za dodatkową godzinę zabawy XD.
Jeśli chodzi o te "wielkie projekty"... 2 sezon DBS odpada, bo Shuiesha trzyma prawa autorskie za jaja i nie ma szans, by puścili je teraz. Anime zbyt szybko dogoniłoby mangę. Poza tym, jak już napisałem we wstępie, fani DB są uodpornieni na takie numery. W końcu ile lat czekaliśmy na filmy z Beerusem. Film będzie na 100%, ale co dalej? Byłoby pięknie, gdyby zrealizowali jakieś spin-offy. DB ma gigantyczny i całkowicie niewykorzystany potencjał w tej materii. Młodość Roshiego i Żurawia. Boskie postacie. Przeszłość Beerusa. Życie Vegety z Bulmą. Zagłada Namek i wiele innych. Tylko proszę, nie róbcie gówna jak Daima. Ja rozumiem, że nie chcieliście tykać fabuły po nagłej śmierci Toriyamy, ale Daima jest tak nędzne, że wszystko co wyszło w historii DB jest znacznie lepsze.
