Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm, today as I had some time without doing I come to talk about a relatively new anime, and I'm not much of following season anime (since I'm too impatient and end up reading the manga), but when an anime manages to catch my attention, and if they confirm its next season, I will surely manage not to go to the manga, well this happened to me with an anime of which I knew nothing and had no great expectations but Vanitas no Carte for me was a surprise last season.
Screenshots from my PCThis anime premiered in July of this year and was brought to us by the studio Bones (so we could expect a more than good animation) and the work of Jun Mochizuki (also creator of Pandora Hearts) brought us our two protagonists, Vanitas a normal human who has a mysterious diary, and Noe, a vampire with certain unique abilities.
Screenshots from my PCAnd is that the universe of this work vampires and humans exist in the same world, and with a very steampunk atmosphere and something that I must remark (and the reason why I liked this work so much) is that its Victorian setting is really epic, not only in the aspect of a Paris XIX, but also that cool mix that occurs with the adaptation of steam engines for unique functions (such as the balloon in which Noe and Vanitas travel in the first chapter).
Screenshots from my PCThe most important thing in this universe is that humans believe that vampires are extinct and is that due to a curse vampires enter a wild state in which only seek to consume blood, this is where Vanitas enters, which wants to cure all vampires of this curse, but to our surprise we will have that there is a character capable of generating chaos in the society of vampires as it can make them suffer the effects of the curse.
Screenshots from my PCSomething I must make clear is that I am not a fan of when the works show their "denouement" at the beginning (as for example Boruto did) and this takes away the strength of the moment when it arrives and also generates that the interest in the rest of the work is lost a little because you know what will happen, and this is a failure that Vanitas commits. What can be rescued is that this work has been presenting us with several unexpected twists and turns and this makes us think that this supposed "end" will not really be as they want us to believe.
Screenshots from my PCVanitas no Carte has been an interesting and somewhat innovative bet for this season although it falls with some typical clichés of vampire anime, and due to its Victorian era, its style can sometimes have moments in which we do not know very well the intentions or desires of the characters, which is interesting but if in the future it is not taken with intelligence it could lose the essence of the work.
Screenshots from my PCLike any work comes to have its low moments and sometimes a little predictable but the twists and turns that one finds at the end of the season and the secondary characters that are presented to us in the course of the work make it quite entertaining, although I think that these same should have a little more background, which I hope will be in the next season, without much more to add I recommend this anime for those fans of vampires, steampunk and those looking for an anime with interesting battles and funny moments.
Screenshots from my PCHola a toda la comunidad de The Anime Realm, hoy como tenía tiempo sin realizar vengo a hablar de un anime relativamente nuevo, y es que no soy muy de seguir animes de temporada (ya que soy demasiado impaciente y termino leyendo el manga), pero cuando un anime logra llamar mi atención, y si confirman su siguiente temporada, muy seguramente lograre no irme al manga, bien pues esto me pasó con un anime del cual no sabía nada y tampoco tenía una gran expectativa pero es que Vanitas no Carte para mí fue una sorpresa de la temporada pasada.
Screenshots from my PCEste anime se estrenó en Julio de este año y fue traído por el estudio Bones (así que podíamos esperar una animación más que buena) y es que la obra de Jun Mochizuki (creadora también de Pandora Hearts) nos trajo a nuestros dos protagonistas, Vanitas un humano normal que cuenta con un misterioso diario, y a Noe, un vampiro con ciertas habilidades únicas.
Screenshots from my PCY es que el universo de esta obra los vampiros y los humanos existen en el mismo mundo, y con un ambiente muy steampunk y algo que debo remarcar (y la razón por la que está obra me gustó tanto) es que su ambientación victoriana es realmente épica, no solo en el aspecto de un París XIX, sino también esa mezcla tan genial que se da con la adaptación de las máquinas de vapor para funciones únicas (como el globo en el que viajan Noe y Vanitas en el primer capítulo).
Screenshots from my PCLo más importante de este universo es que los humanos creen que los vampiros están extintos y es que debido a una maldición los vampiros entran en un estado salvaje en el que solo buscan consumir sangre, aquí es donde entra Vanitas, el cual desea curar a todos los vampiros de esta maldición, pero para nuestra sorpresa tendremos que existe un personaje capaz de generar el caos en la sociedad de vampiros ya que puede hacer que sufran los efectos de la maldición.
Screenshots from my PCAlgo que debo dejar claro es que no soy muy fanático de cuando las obras muestran su "desenlace" al inicio (como por ejemplo hizo Boruto) y es que esto le quita fuerza al momento cuando llegue y además genera que se pierda un poco el interés en el resto de la obra porque sabes que pasará, y este es un fallo que comete Vanitas. Lo que se puede rescatar es que esta obra nos ha ido presentando de a pocos varios giros de tuerca bastante inesperados y esto nos hace pensar que ese supuesto "final" no será realmente como nos lo quieren hacer creer.
Screenshots from my PCVanitas no Carte ha sido una apuesta interesante y un tanto innovadora para esta temporada aunque cae con algunos clichés típicos de los animes de vampiros, y debido a su época victoriana, su estilo a veces puede llegar a tener momentos en los que no sabemos muy bien las intenciones o deseos de los personajes, lo cual no lo tomen a mal es interesante pero si en el futuro no se toma con inteligencia podría hacer perder la esencia de la obra.
Screenshots from my PCComo toda obra llega a tener sus momentos bajos y a veces un poco predecibles pero los giros de tuerca que uno encuentra al final de la temporada y los personajes secundarios que se nos van presentando en el transcurso de la obra la hacen bastante entretenida, aunque considero que estos mismos deberían tener un poco más de trasfondo, cosa que espero que se de en su siguiente temporada, sin mucho más que agregar recomiendo este anime para aquellos fanáticos de los vampiros, del steampunk y a aquellos que busquen un anime con batalles interesantes y momentos graciosos.

Saludos amigo de Hive, me llamo mucho la atención tu post sobre este anime, no lo habia leido o escuchado, sin embargo me parece que eres un buen critico al momento de recomendar un anime, me interesan los anime de vampiros, y la verdad es que me gustaria adentrarme en este a ver que tal.
Realmente es muy bueno y bastante interesante, su universo es muy entretenido, lo recomiendo realmente además su animación es muy bonita
