What you say about blending comedy with the tension of the duels, and the slower pace, makes me curious. Not everything has to be nonstop frenetic action. I really like that you say it focuses on Beryl's personal journey, without adding unnecessary drama. Sometimes less is more. And if the animation delivers in the key moments and manages to convey that serenity and then the tension, then great. Good review.
