No quería ver este anime porque está de moda, y cuando eso pasa hay muchos usuarios y personas a mi alrededor hablando de ello: por lo que me saturo y mi interés se esfuma. Al final decidí verlo por mero momentum sin esperar nada bueno, pero la animación del opening junto a Otonoke de Creepy Nuts captó por completo mi atención. No debemos juzgar un libro por su portada, pero querramos o no, la primera impresión es importante.
I didn’t want to watch this anime because it’s trendy, and when that happens, there are many users and people around me talking about it, which overwhelms me and makes me lose interest. In the end, I decided to watch it impulsively without expecting anything good, but the animation of the opening along with Otonoke by Creepy Nuts completely caught my attention. We shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but whether we like it or not, first impressions matter.

I deserve an award for being the worst at explaining plots, but I’ll try to give you some context.
La historia gira entorno a Ayase Momo,quien cree en los fantasmas, y Takakura Ken (Okarun) un apasionado por la ciencia ficción y el ocultismo, quienes después de toparse por casualidad, y cruzar un par de palabras exponen abiertamente el excepticismo por las creencias del otro, así que por orgullo e impulso deciden hacer una apuesta para probar que existen y al mismo tiempo humillar al perdedor.
The story revolves around Momo Ayase, who believes in ghosts, and Takakura Ken (Okarun), who is passionate about science fiction and the occult. After bumping into each other and exchanging a few words, they openly express skepticism about each other’s beliefs. So, out of pride and impulse, they decide to make a bet to prove their beliefs and humiliate the loser.
Cada uno tiene que ir a un punto en específico que el otro le indique y si en dichos sitios se topan con las pruebas de la existencia de lo que tanto niegan: serán el "mandadero" del otro. Ambos aceptan ir esa misma noche a los puntos indicados y mientras hablan por medio de una llamada telefónica, terminan teniendo los tan esperados y temidos encuentros paranormales... Momo es raptada por los Serpianos y Ken se topa con la "Turboruca", un espíritu maligno y peligroso que termina maldiciéndolo.
Each of them must go to a specific location indicated by the other, and if they encounter evidence of what they deny, they will become the other’s “errand boy.” Both agree to go to these locations that same night, and while talking over the phone, they end up having the long-awaited and feared paranormal encounters... Momo gets abducted by the Serpianos, and Ken encounters the "Turboruca," a malevolent and dangerous spirit that ends up cursing him.

Ambos se mantienen unidos debido a que gracias a la maldición de la Turboruca, si Momo no suprime la maldición de Ken con sus habilidades psíquicas, el terminará siendo poseído en su totalidad por este espíritu mal hablado y malévolo cuyo deseo es asesinar.
They remain together because, thanks to the Turboruca’s curse, if Momo doesn’t suppress Ken’s curse with her psychic abilities, he will end up being completely possessed by this foul-mouthed and malevolent spirit whose only desire is to kill.

Momo decides to help Ken, and while dealing with the consequences of their paranormal encounters and searching for a solution to the curse, they constantly face dangerous extraterrestrial and spiritual threats they must confront.
La verdad, el argumento me parecía un poco flojo, pero la representación visual y la narrativa no se comparan en nada al argumento con el que suelen definir la serie, es algo súper dinámico e interesante de mirar.
Honestly, the plot seemed a bit weak to me at first, but the visual representation and narrative are nothing like the plot usually described for the series. It's super dynamic and exciting to watch.
👽 • Este anime es súper absurdo, pero muy interesante y entretenido, además de divertidísimo (No tengo un sentido del humor sofisticado, pero a mí me dió risa) les mentiría si les dijera que me aburrí viéndolo. No es un anime para niños porque tiene muchas cosas subidas de tono. Pero también tiene sus momentos... ¿Conmovedores?; Emocionalmente profundos (Yo sí lloré con la historia de la sedosa acrobática, me disculpan).
👽 • I would say this anime is super absurd but also very interesting and entertaining, as well as hilarious. (I don’t have a sophisticated sense of humor, but it made me laugh.) I’d be lying if I said I got bored watching it. That said, it’s not an anime for kids since it has many risqué elements. But it also has its moments... touching? Emotionally profound (I did cry at the story of the silky acrobat, forgive me).

Aquí el elemento de comedia y controversia total es la banana de Ken. Sí, así como leyeron, su "banana". En otras palabras, su pit0. Lo estúpido del asunto es que por alguna razón la Turboruca le quitó los genitales a Ken, o sea, los hizo desaparecer como con un truco de magia... y por eso se produjo la maldición, así que sí la doña no le regresa su pit0, o si ellos no logran recuperarlo, su maldición seguirá.
Here, the element of comedy and total controversy is Ken's banana. Yes, you read that right, his "banana." In other words, his p3n1s. The stupid thing about it is that for some reason, the Turboruca took Ken's genitals away, meaning she made them disappear like with a magic trick... and that's how the curse was created, so yes, if the lady doesn't return his p3n1s, or if they don't manage to recover it, his curse will continue.
Los aliens también están en busca de su "banana", porque, según ellos, debido a las habilidades que posee el muchacho (gracias a la maldición y a la ayuda de Momo logra encontrar un equilibrio entre el poder de la maldición y su consciencia consiguiendo algo así como una transformación) al quitarle el miembro y estudiarlo o transferirlo a ellos: podrán descubrir la clave para la evolución de su especie. Lo sé, ni Einstein se atrevió a tanto.
The aliens are also on the hunt for his "banana" because, according to them, due to the abilities the boy possesses (thanks to the curse and with Momo's help, he manages to find a balance between the power of the curse and his consciousness, achieving something like a transformation), by taking away his member and studying it or transferring it to themselves: they will be able to discover the key to the evolution of their species. I know, even Einstein wouldn't dare to go that far.
👽 • Estos personajes son demasiado random, en cierta medida resultan ridículos y estúpidos, como intencionalmente exagerados, dan un poco de cringe, pero son algo interesantes y tienen sus matices... Por lo que de alguna manera les tomas cariño.

🛸 • Me gustó el lenguaje que usaron en la serie, probablemente sea porque lo vi con subtitulos de alguna variación latina, porque la verdad la traducción era como muy coloquial y le daba un toque muy entretenido.

Definitivamente sí. Usualmente no me gusta ver las cosas más de una vez aunque me gusten, creo que depende de ciertos factores si querré verla o no de nuevo, y por alguna razón este anime cumple con esos requisitos.

Este es de esos animes que te llegan a gustar o por su historia y personajes o sino por su excelente animación y banda sonora. Al combinar tantos elementos diferentes (como la comedia romántica, lo sobrenatural, la ciencia ficción y la acción), es evidente que no exista un público que no le atraiga la atención esta serie, a pesar de su premisa tan absurda. Tal vez por sus personajes principales tan carismáticos y diferentes a los típicos protagonistas idiotas de cualquier Shōnen de peleas, o por su forma tan especial de contar historias (como la del fantasma de la Dama Acrobática, o como se llame). Sin duda alguna, es de esos animes que valen la pena ver, al mejor una vez.
