Makoto Shishio es mi villano favorito porque creo que es uno de los adversarios más difícil de derrotar en la historia de Samurái X, no solo por su fuerza física si no también por su gran inteligencia. Considero que la infeliz traición de quienes consideraba sus amigos y aliados lo convirtió en ese villano tan temible y macabro.
Repasando un poco su historia personal, veremos a Makoto Shishio como fiel servidor del gobierno de la era Meiji . Sus servicios eran bien remunerados por el gobierno quien más tarde sin piedad, debido a la amenaza que representaba el hecho de que Makoto Shishio poseyera tanta información a cerca de las maniobras gubernamentales, se confabula en contra él le traicionaron disparándole en la cabeza y prendiéndole fuego.
A pesar de esto, sobrevivió y juró venganza contra el Gobierno Meiji, así como crear una nueva era y dominar a Japón. Se oculto por años para superar sus graves heridas y a través de rigurosos entrenamientos aprendió a dominar el arte del fuego logrando que de su espada emanen llamas muy fuertes y mortales.
Makoto Shishio es un hombre muy inteligente y estudia con mucho cuidado los sentimientos de las personas. Es entonces cuando conoce a quienes lo acompañan y utiliza sus frustraciones y complejos para sacarles provecho y hacerlos asesinos sin límites y poder sentirse poderoso ante los demás y así lograr vengarse de todos a costa de lo que sea sin importarle nada ni nadie.

Makoto Shishio is my favorite villain because I think he is one of the most difficult adversaries to defeat in the history of Samurai X, not only because of his physical strength but also because of his great intelligence. I believe that the unhappy betrayal of those he considered his friends and allies turned him into such a fearsome and macabre villain.
Reviewing his personal history, we will see Makoto Shishio as a faithful servant of the Meiji era government. His services were well remunerated by the government who later mercilessly, due to the threat posed by the fact that Makoto Shishio possessed so much information about government maneuvers, conspired against him and betrayed him by shooting him in the head and setting him on fire.
Despite this, he survived and vowed revenge against the Meiji government, as well as creating a new era and dominating Japan. He hid for years to overcome his serious injuries and through rigorous training he learned to master the art of fire, making his sword emanate very strong and deadly flames.
Makoto Shishio is a very intelligent man and carefully studies people's feelings. It is then when he meets those who accompany him and uses their frustrations and complexes to take advantage of them and make them murderers without limits in order to feel powerful in front of others and thus achieve revenge on everyone at any cost without caring about anything or anyone.

¿ Por qué me gusta Shishio como villano? Cuando vi por primera vez el personaje de Shishio, confieso que sentí mucho miedo por todo ese vendaje y mirada macabra. Pero su personalidad me atrapó. Cuando combatió con Kenshin en ese barco lleno de fuego, desplegó todas sus habilidades con la espada pensé que Kenshin no podría derrotarlo. Las escenas del combate aunadas a la música de la banda sonora produjeron en mí una gran emoción, me impresionó la forma como Shishio pelea y usa su lenguaje psicológico para distraer al oponente. Pero en el caso de Kenshin debido a su fuerza mental no logra descolocarlo con esa escena Shishio me deslumbró como antihéroe y su fuerza antagonista me llevó a titularlo Mi Villano Favorito de Anime
Why do I like Shishio as a villain? When I first saw Shishio's character, I confess I felt a lot of fear because of all that bandage and macabre look. But his personality got me. When he fought with Kenshin on that fire-filled ship, he displayed all his sword skills I thought Kenshin couldn't defeat him. The fight scenes coupled with the music of the soundtrack produced in me a great emotion, I was impressed by the way Shishio fights and uses his psychological language to distract the opponent. But in the case of Kenshin, due to his mental strength, he is unable to dislodge him with that scene, Shishio dazzled me as an antihero and his antagonistic strength led me to title him My Favorite Anime Villain.

La película el infierno de Kyoto me parece espectacular ya que tanto Kenshin como Shishio fisicamente son muy parecidos a los del anime y supieron hacer las escenas con las espadas lo más similar posible al anime.
Shishio pensaba que era demasiado fuerte de carácter y sabiduría por eso quiso ser el dueño de todo Japón a costa de las vidas de personas inocentes y de todo aquel que creía en él, fue traicionado por eso nunca le importa nada ni nadie ni si quiera la vida de la mujer que lo amaba, su locura ni tenía límites y por eso acabo entre fuego y sangré.
Kenshin quiso salvar su vida pero no lo escucho y prefirió ser arrastrado por el odio y poder que lo llevó a la total locura.

The movie Kyoto Hell looks spectacular to me as both Kenshin and Shishio physically look very similar to the anime and they knew how to make the scenes with the swords as similar as possible to the anime.
Shishio thought he was too strong of character and wisdom so he wanted to be the master of all Japan at the cost of the lives of innocent people and everyone who believed in him, he was betrayed so he never cares about anything or anyone, not even the life of the woman who loved him, his madness had no limits and that's why he ended up between fire and blood.
Kenshin wanted to save his life but he did not listen to him and preferred to be dragged by hatred and power that led him to total madness.
