Although it is not the best criteria, always when I think of watching a new anime I let myself go first of its animation and visual quality and then its synopsis, there are very good anime with average animation but other times we are also lucky to find anime where its animation and visual quality is simply amazing and additionally its story and development are very emotional and captivating with which we can be completely excited in each chapter and watch the whole season without us realizing the time, Takt Op. Destiny is an anime of the year 2021 which was produced by two top level animation studios such as Madhouse and MAPPA, with this we can already intuit that its quality is phenomenal especially when considering that there were chapters where all the animation was in charge of MAPPA and others completely by MadHouse with which there was some competition between them to prove which was the best.
The story of Takt Op. Destiny is quite peculiar and that in a way can remind anime like Evangelion and Darling, we are presented with a world at war and somehow in conditions of extinction where humanity was forced to battle against strange extraterrestrial creatures called D2 which for some strange reason seek and attack any molody or musical tone and do so with a huge aggressiveness and power, for this reason any kind of music is practically forbidden throughout the world which ends up being a torment for our protagonist Takt who is a great pianist.
In order to fight against these strange creatures, humanity has the support of the Musicart, spiritual creatures or something similar which give a great amount of strength and power to a person so that, guided by an orchestra master, he can face the enemies, A music-based approach that is very striking and peculiar at the same time to be quite dramatic to understand that these creatures can only give this power to the chosen bodies once the person dies and leaves it empty, this is more heartbreaking to realize who is the Musicart that accompanies Takt which was called Cosette and then become Destiny when she receives the power.
One of the main attractions in the story is the contrast between the personalities of Takt and Destiny, for his part Takt after everything that happened in his life is quite cold, distrustful and angry when it comes to fighting against the D2, despite knowing that the battles cause him a great effort and can even put his life at risk has no precautions and his greatest desire is to eliminate all the D2 that exist to achieve the revenge that his heart longs for. Destiny's personality is very basic and even somewhat dehumanized due to the nature of his existence, he does not understand much of human relationships or desires and like Takt his only goal is to fight, basically a personality more similar to that of a robot, although he has an exaggerated appetite due to the amount of energy he spends in each battle.
An aspect that can be dramatic and sentimental in the plot is everything related to the background of Destiny's character, both Takt and Anna another person who accompanies them, had great feelings towards Cosette who now becomes Destiny, despite this on several occasions the denial that they still maintain the hope or the possibility that it is the same person or that the old Cosette returns, who very early in the first chapters makes it very clear the conditions and what it means that a new Musicart appears on earth, In the same way a development is presented where the masters and the whole organization that controls the Musicart also seem to have their own objectives and do not hesitate to use the Musicart as simple tools without feelings or souls for which takt will have to face much more than just the space creatures, the D2.
By having a musical theme, the combats and scenes of the story are accompanied with a soundtrack or exciting and really captivating melody, as well as shocking for the story, where being based on a master of ceremonies, the music is that of an orchestra or mostly piano melodies which for some reason are always amazing in all anime where they decide to use them.
Being an anime made by two major animation studios, its visual quality is fantastic practically at all times, the character designs, especially the design of Destiny when he is fighting, as well as the designs and colors so intense of the D2 are very striking and exciting to see, the fights as well as shocking scenes have a great graphic work and likewise both its OP and ED have a great design and both have very good songs.

Aunque no sea el mejor criterio, siempre cuando pienso en ver un anime nuevo me dejo llevar primero de su animación y calidad visual y luego de su sinopsis, existen animes muy buenos con animación promedio pero otras veces también tenemos la suerte de encontrar animes en donde su animación y calidad visual es simplemente increíble y adicionalmente su historia y desarrollo resultan muy emotivos y cautivadores con lo cual podemos estar completamente emocionados en cada capítulo y ver toda la temporada sin que nos demos cuenta del tiempo, Takt Op. Destiny es un anime del año 2021 el cual fue producido por dos estudios animadores de primer nivel como lo son Madhouse y MAPPA, con esto ya podemos intuir que su calidad en fenomenal en especial al considerar que hubieron capítulos donde toda la animación estuvo a cargo de MAPPA y otros completamente de MadHouse con lo cual había cierta competencia entre ellos para demostrar cual era el mejor.
La historia de Takt Op. Destiny es bastante peculiar y que de cierto modo puede recordar a animes como Evangelion y Darling, se nos presenta un mudo en guerra y de cierto modo en condiciones de extinción en donde la humanidad se vio obligada a batallar contra unas extrañas criaturas extraterrestres llamadas D2 las cuales por alguna extraña razón buscan y atacan cualquier molodia o tono musical y lo hacen con una agresividad y poder descomunal, por este motivo cualquier tipo de música está prácticamente prohibida en todo el mundo lo cual termina siendo un tormento para nuestro protagonista Takt quien es un gran pianista.
Para poder combatir contra estas extrañas criaturas la humanidad cuenta con el apoyo de los Musicart, criaturas espirituales o algo similares las cuales le otorgan una gran cantidad de fuerza y poder a una persona para que guiada por un maestro de orquesta pueda hacer frente a los enemigos, un enfoque basado en la música que resulta muy llamativo y peculiar al mismo tiempo de ser bastante dramático al entender que estas criaturas solo pueden dar este poder a los cuerpos elegidos una vez la persona muere y lo deja vacío, esto resulta más desgarrador al darse cuenta de quién es la Musicart que acompaña a Takt la cual se llamaba Cosette para luego pasar a ser Destiny cuando recibe el poder.
Uno de los principales atractivos en la historia es el contraste entre las personalidades de Takt y Destiny, por su parte Takt luego de todo lo ocurrido en su vida es bastante frio, desconfiado e iracundo cuando se trata de combatir contra los D2, a pesar de saber que las batallas le causan un gran esfuerzo y hasta puede poner su vida en riesgo no tiene precauciones y su mayor deseo es eliminar a todos los D2 que existan para lograr conseguir la venganza que anhela su corazón. Por su parte la personalidad de Destiny es muy básica y hasta algo deshumanizada debido a la naturaleza de su existencia, no entiende mucho de las relaciones o deseos humanos y al igual que Takt su único objetivo es combatir, básicamente una personalidad más similar a la de un robot, aunque tiene un apetito exagerado debido a la cantidad de energía que gasta en cada batalla
Un aspecto que puede resultar dramático y sentimental en la trama es todo lo referente al trasfondo del personaje de Destiny, tanto Takt como Anna otra persona que los acompaña, tuvieron grandes sentimientos hacia Cosette quien ahora paso a ser Destiny, a pesar de esto en varias ocasiones se presenta la negación de que aun mantienen la esperanza o la posibilidad de que sea la misma persona o que vuelva la antigua Cosette quien desde muy temprano en los primeros capítulos se deja muy en claro las condiciones y lo que significa que un nuevo Musicart aparezca en la tierra, del mismo modo se presenta un desarrollo en donde los maestros y toda la organización que controla a los Musicart parecen también tener sus propios objetivos y no dudan en utilizar a los Musicart como simples herramientas sin sentimientos ni almas por lo cual takt deberá enfrentar mucho más que a solo las criaturas espaciales, los D2.
Al tener una temática musical, los combates y escenas de la historia van acompañados con una banda sonara o melodía emocionante y realmente cautivadora, así como impactante para la historia, en donde al basarse en un maestro de ceremonias, la música es la de una orquesta o mayormente melodías de piano las cuales por alguna razón siempre resultan increíbles en todos los animes donde deciden usarlas.
Al tratarse de un anime hecho por dos grandes estudios de animación su calidad visual es fantástica prácticamente en todo momento, los diseños de los personajes en especial el diseño de Destiny cuando está combatiendo, así como los diseños y colores tan intensos de los D2 resultan muy llamativos y emocionantes de ver, los combates asi como escenas impactantes o dramaticas tienen un gran trabajo gráfico y del mismo modo tanto su OP como ED tienen un gran diseño y ambos cuentan con canciones muy buenas.
