How are you all? Hope everyone is doing well. Today I wanted to share a wonderful love story anime review named Ocean Waves. The movie story is based on high school student Ukii as he considers his complex relationship with Rika.
My review
At the beginning of the anime, we saw a boy named Uki get prepared for traveling, and while preparing his luggage, he saw a girl's photo in his albums, and due to his busy schedule, he ran first to the airport and took the flight to attend a get-together.
He thinks about the girl named Rika. In his high school life, Uki meets Rika.
In flashbacks, we saw that Uki sat in his classroom and saw a girl in the field. The teacher announced that this year their summer tour was canceled, and all of them are upset and protest against the teacher. During this protest, Uudi met with Uda, and they became good friends. One day, Uudi saw that Uda was talking with that girl Rika and asked Uda how he knew her. He told about Rika.
Rika is such a good student but always upset because her parents are separated from each other, and Rika stays alone in this city, but she is known for her brilliant results in school.
During winter, the schoolteacher arranges a tour of the sea beach. Rika told Uudi that she lost all the money and requested him to give her 400 dollars. Uudi gave her money, and Rika asked Uudi not to tell anybody about this matter.
But he told his best friend, and after knowing that, Rika was angry at Uki. After a few days, Rika requested that he travel to Tokyo to visit her father's house. Uudi would agree and go with her to Tokyo. Rika meets with her father and arranges a hotel for Uudi.
After two days, they came back. Basically, Rika likes Uki, but after knowing that Rika likes Uki, Uki did not agree with her, and their friendship ended. On the last day of their school life, a few girls disturb Rika, and Uki saw that, but he didn't help her. After knowing that, Rika got angry at Uki and slapped him.
Uki, best friend, gave a punch to his face after knowing that he didn't help Rika.
After a long time, all the school friends came to a get-together, but just Rika did not come. Everyone, especially Uki, missed her, and after the get-together ended, he waited for the train in the station and saw Rika. He ran fast and met with Rika, and their love story started.
Recommendations
A must-watch anime movie. The anime was published a long time ago in 1993. The anime is basically based on a high school love story between two classmates and how they meet each other after a long time. I must recommend watching the anime.
