¡Hola comunidad de amantes del anime y el manga!
El estar sin internet no me ha permitido hacer actualizaciones con más frecuencia como solía hacer, sin embargo ¡aquí vamos!
En un post anterior les conté sobre mi experiencia dibujando al aire libre. He continuado con las prácticas casi a diario, aprovechando las horas de las mañanas, las cuales han estado bastante frías y lluviosas o nubladas.
Hay momentos en los que debo suspender mis prácticas a media mañana porque la lluvia se avecina y no me arriesgo a que todo el trabajo se pierda bajo el agua. Así que hago lo posible por aprovechar al máximo el tiempo y avanzar con la pieza que esté trabajando ese día tanto como pueda.
Aún con eso, he notado que desde que estoy practicando al aire libre, me siento en más calma, con más energía, mis niveles de estrés y ansiedad han bajado mucho y me siento más alegre y optimista.
Mi timidez e introversión han ido bajando también. Al inicio, me era muy difícil iniciar conversación con las personas que se acercaban a hablar conmigo. Ahora hablo por ratos largos con ellos y con más seguridad.
Las personas han sido muy amables y me preguntan muchas cosas sobre ilustración y los que son fans del manga y el anime, disfrutan de intercambiar con otra persona que habla su mismo lenguaje en ese aspecto.
Los niños que salen de los colegios cercanos y van con sus padres a disfrutar un rato en la plaza, se acercan a conversar conmigo y ya hay un grupo que siempre me visita para dibujar o conversar un rato y contarme su día de clases. Hoy, uno de ellos me dijo que como ve que tengo mis materiales de dibujo ordenados en una caja transportable, de esas que se suelen usar para guardar herramientas pero que yo la uso para tener todos mis materiales ordenados y poder llevarlos conmigo con facilidad, él tomó la idea y sus padres le compraron una para que pueda tener todo su material allí.
He recibido dibujos de regalo de ellos y muchos me dejan sorprendida con el increíble talento que tienen. Es muy divertido verlos tan entusiasmados haciendo lo mejor que pueden para expresar sus ideas a través del arte.
Ya les seguiré contando sobre las aventuras y experiencias que tenga en estas prácticas al aire libre.
Mientras tanto, les comparto otras de las ilustraciones que he hecho. La ilustración de Naruto está hecha en acuarelas y tinta china, mientras que la ilustración de Mazinger Z y Candy Candy, esta última un poco mezclada con mi propio estilo, fueron hechas en creyones y tinta china. ¡Espero les gusten!
Les debo fotos del proceso, pero mientras estoy trabajando, muchas veces se me olvida todo y me enfoco tanto en lo que hago que luego recuerdo que no tomé ninguna foto del proceso. Otras veces, es por estar entretenida entre dibujar y conversar con los niños que no me doy cuenta cuando he terminado de realizar todo. Haré lo posible por mantenerlo en mente para futuras ilustraciones.

Hello, anime and manga lovers community!
Being without internet has prevented me from posting updates as frequently as I used to, but here we go!
In a previous post I told you about my experience drawing outdoors. I have kept up with the practice almost daily, taking advantage of the morning hours, which have been quite cold, rainy, or cloudy.
There are times when I have to suspend my practice mid‑morning because rain is approaching and I don’t want all my work to be lost underwater. So I try to make the most of the time and progress on the piece I’m working on that day as much as possible.
Even with that, I’ve noticed that since I’ve been practicing outdoors, I feel calmer, more energetic, my stress and anxiety levels have dropped a lot, and I feel happier and more optimistic.
My shyness and introversion have also decreased. At first, it was very hard for me to start a conversation with people who came up to talk to me. Now I talk with them for long periods and with more confidence.
People have been very friendly and ask me many questions about illustration, and fans of manga and anime enjoy chatting with someone who speaks the same “language” in that regard.
The kids who leave nearby schools and come with their parents to spend time in the plaza stop to talk to me, and there’s now a group that always visits me to draw or chat for a while and tell me about their school day. Today, one of them said that, seeing I keep my drawing supplies organized in a portable box—like those used for tools but which I use to keep everything tidy and easy to carry—he took the idea, and his parents bought him one so he can store all his materials there too.
I have received drawings from them as gifts, and many surprise me with the incredible talent they have. It’s a lot of fun to see them so enthusiastic, doing their best to express their ideas through art.
I’ll keep you posted about the adventures and experiences I have in these outdoor sessions.
In the meantime, here are some other illustrations I’ve made. The Naruto illustration is done in watercolor and Drawing ink, while the Mazinger Z and Candy Candy illustrations (the latter a bit mixed with my own style) were created with crayons and Drawing ink. I hope you like them!
I owe you process photos, but while I’m working I often forget everything and focus so much on what I’m doing that I later realize I didn’t take any process shots. Other times, I get so absorbed in drawing and chatting with the children that I don’t notice when I’ve finished. I’ll try to keep this in mind for future illustrations.
