Feelings of wanting to protect, make happy, understand, and help grow and develop are all at the heart of the relationship between the two characters in this series. Through ridiculous situations, we get to watch the pair grow closer, as well as see Charlotte gain much-needed self-confidence, and her own opinion, and overcome her fears.
It's a romance, but it's also a story about finding family, where a girl finds a place where she can be happy, and people who truly care about her. Although filled with many funny and very sweet moments, the series is very comedic.
Much of the comedy in the series hinges on Allen and his goofy antics and phrasing. After all, "naughty" certainly paints a different picture than just doing fun activities. She is also similar to a tsundere, she often presents her actions in a negative light despite doing so out of kindness deep in her heart, which is something Charlotte notices as they grow closer.
Allen most likely believes that his actions stem from bad intentions as he seems confused by his own feelings. However, this confusion didn't stop Allen from making sure Charlotte knew she was special to him.
On the other hand, Charlotte is an innocent and sweet character. She lacks self-confidence and seems to be under the impression that she shouldn't enjoy anything thanks to her previous home life. For the most part, the series is about Allen trying to change this and, as the title suggests, "make her the happiest woman in the world." The story slowly shows Allen's efforts paying off as he begins to express his own desires. The change is gradual and going well.
Despite Charlotte's darker history, this is a very lighthearted story full of cute and adorable moments between Allen and Charlotte. I think what makes this series stand out is how genuine the relationship between the two is, in contrast to many recent romance series that focus solely on the flirting rather than why one person would love another or how exactly that love is displayed.
The series may not have a revolutionary or particularly unique storyline, but the relationships shown through it are truly special.
Behind the forest lives Allen, a human-hating wizard. He is feared by those around him and is called the “Demon King”. One day, while living his life as a hermit, he finds a young girl named Charlotte who has collapsed. This post of mine is not enough to explain why Konyaku Haki sareta Reijou wo Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto wo Oshiekomu is the best for me. Plus, the story is long and interesting so it's important to describe everything as if it all matters.
