I'm actually watching this one right not but after 6 episodes, it hasn't fully managed to hook me yet and I'm wondering if I should keep watching or give up on it. It's certainly not that I dislike it, the main issue is that I compare it to Death Note which really got me fully sold after 2 epsisodes already. This said, I've only heard good things about code geass so I might push through a bit more.

I LOVE Death note and yes it shares similarities with Code Geass in terms of plot and protagonists, just with a different approach, but this is common in anime. Now, the taste depends on each one and it is normal that it happens in this type of anime with such “strong” premises because one already wants the best parts, but for me it is a masterpiece, the narrative from beginning to end remained complex and well structured and I tell you that the end generated debates and theories at the time.
You may get hooked as you advance or just want the denouement, but there are peak moments that are simply something else, keep watching if you like it, if not I always make many recommendations hahaha but I tell you that it is considered a cult anime for a reason.
It's exactly this what keeps me going right now!
