I just watched the last episode of Ninja Kamui and I didn't know where or what to channel this feeling of disappointment into so here I am.

Plot.
Former Ninja Joe Higan lives in rural America after defecting from his ninja clan with his wife Mari and their child. One day his home is attacked by ninja's who came to kill them for breaking the ninja code.
Looking at the death of his wife and child, Higan swears an oath of revenge on the ninja's, an oath to kill the head Yamato.
It seems like a well off plot, reused multiple times in different western human movies, but the anime touch just makes one curious, and the good reviews and recommendation online do a good job of enticing audiences.
Although for people watching this, you're on for a steep cliff called disappointment.
My Thoughts.
The anime started good enough, a simple background, nice drawings and a great use of colors and animations.
The first episode was without action, just showed a peaceful family living their lives in the nicks of a farm.
The second to fifth episode were action packed, as we get to see hand to hand combat that rivaled the likes of Goku and animation that seems like it was spat out of MAPPA.
This was the height of the anime, it happened so fast and was so good that the anime made it to top of the list in the most watched new series.
This was the moment were everyone's expectations were off the roof, this was when the most audience were in on the show, this was the cliff.
After the first 5 episodes the anime slowed down a little, we were shown as Higan was tending to his wounds and was trying to make up a plan to topple the ninja's and the company that had sides with them, AUZA.
We were still shown a few bit of interesting fight scenes, for example when Higan first met the police detective (whose name I no longer remember despite just seeing him a few hours ago) and when he infiltrated into AUZA and got his arse kicked.
After these scenes, everything went downhill from here.
The plot became predictable, everybody expected the inside help, they expected AUZA to be a lapdog and Yamato to be the main villain at the end, they even expected Yamato's true goal to be world domination.
In whatever terms he may have paraphrased it with.
The most disappointing thing of all, is the sloppiness of the fight scenes, scenes that helped bring in views, scenes that people wanted to see.
They became repetitive, animation abysmal, everything just looked so disgusting that it was an eyesore to watch.
The two last final battle, Higan against Kai and Higan against Yamato, I've more or less memorized the choreography..
It was that bad.
The ending, was even more mid.
The colors and art style was still average, the music choices...
Well let's leave the music choices.
One who would see a fight of the first part of the anime and see the last final battle would think it's a different show.
