Greetings, fellow otaku friends of #TheAnimeRealm. The series I want to share my opinion on today is another one that I liked, but didn't absolutely love. I think it could have been better, especially the ending. Today, I'll tell you what I think about the Dororo series, an anime that was remade in 2019 by one of Japan's largest production companies, better known as MAPPA.
Saludos, queridos amigos otakus de #TheAnimeRealm. La serie de la cual les quiero contar mi opinión hoy se trata de otra que también me gustó, pero no me encantó. Pienso que pudo ser mejor, sobre todo con su final. Hoy les diré lo que pienso sobre la serie Dororo, un animé que salió con una nueva versión en el 2019, elaborada por una de las casas de producción más grandes de Japón, mejor conocida como MAPPA.
The ending felt rushed, almost forced, when the story could have been expanded to provide a better conclusion and avoid leaving it so open-ended. In the end, you don't know what happens to this sweet anime couple whose friendship and affection grew as they spent time together, and I insist, it could have ended better.
Su final me resultó muy de prisa, como apurado y forzado, pudiendo extender la historia un poco más para darle un mejor cierre y no dejarlo tan abierto. Al final no sabes qué sucede con esta tierna pareja del animé cuya amistad y aprecio fueron creciendo conforme pasaban tiempo juntos, e insisto, pudo terminar mejor.
There were also moments in the story, one or two episodes, that felt like filler because, to be honest, they weren't necessary; the plot could have reached its point without them. For me, this caused the series to slow down at a certain point, only to then accelerate excessively in the finale, inserting unnecessary and forced scenes.
También hubo momentos en la historia, uno o dos capítulos en los que se vio como algo de relleno porque para ser honesto no hacía falta ponerlos, se podía llegar al punto de la trama sin necesidad de ellos. Esto para mí hizo que la serie bajara su velocidad en cierto punto para luego acelerarla desmesuradamente en su final, metiendo escenas forzadas de manera innecesaria.
Had it not been for these small but significant details, the series itself would have been a 10/10, but no. MAPPA decided to deliver this work, which, in my humble opinion, could have been better. So, if you enjoy a bit of gore, action, and the occasional touch of comedy in some episodes, I recommend watching this series at least once in your life.
De no haber sido por estos pequeños grandes detalles, la serie en sí hubiera sido un 10/10, pero no. MAPPA decidió entregarnos este trabajo, que, según mi humilde opinión, insisto, pudo ser mejor. Así que si te gusta un poco el gore, la acción y uno que otro toque de comedia en algunos episodios, te recomiendo ver esta serie al menos una vez en tu vida.
Yes, despite what I've mentioned, Dororo is a series worth watching. Its plot is full of drama and suffering, and anyone could empathize with the protagonist. That's why, even though I didn't love it, I still recommend watching it, because I'm sure some of you will. And well, as I mentioned before, if it weren't for these details I didn't like, it could have been a masterpiece.
Porque sí, Dororo a pesar de lo que les comento, es una serie que vale la pena ver, su trama está cargada de drama y sufrimiento, cualquiera podría empatizar con el protagonista. Por eso, aunque no me encantará, igual la recomiendo ver, porque estoy seguro de que a alguno de ustedes le va a encantar. Y bueno, como ya mencioné anteriormente, de no haber sido por estos detalles que no me gustaron, pudo llegar a ser una obra maestra.
