If you could make slaves of the people around you, as long as they could not be harmed, or kill other people because of your instructions, and that there are no limits other than those described above, what would you do with your slaves? and if perhaps you become a slave, would you stand the treatment of your master?

Doreiku or "City of Slaves" , a product has been created which seeks to produce reactions due to the stimulation of some parts of the brain, they are mouth implants that vibrate when there is another person who also has one of these products on, There are a series of rules that are delivered in the manual and as not all people read the manual that is to say ignore the operation and the rules of the new world in which they have entered which is quite dangerous, there is an interaction of slaves and masters in which anyone who has these implants must challenge the other, usually who challenges chooses which is the challenge to do who loses becomes the slave of the other.

The most twisted desires, and even ambitions of power followed by curious strategies in each of the encounters presented, there were several things that impressed me in this manga, from the number of characters involved that are more than 23 of them, leaving nothing loose as it shows the history of each one before and during the use of implants, Some of them entered the game due to the really brilliant deception, and each one takes advantage of their strong points because each character has their own characteristics and will take advantage of their abilities, especially their intelligence to try to win every challenge that comes their way.

The amount of games in the battles are interesting ranging from questions and answers, to challenges to try to get the most of something, some of these battles are arranged because they are facing a master who will make use of his slaves which will give him a significant advantage over his rival a possible new slave to swell the ranks, the reasons why many of the characters want to have slaves are not very different from what anyone would want to do if such an opportunity arises, in this sense with enough logic seems to me an excellent manga.

One of the points it touches on is the use of psychology, as well as history, putting as a foundation for the plot the slaves in the different eras of humanity, with special emphasis on Jamaica, which was a point of slavery trafficking for a long time.

A rather curious manga, I found it quite entertaining, the story of each character and his ambition to obtain slaves and then try to escape from his master, it is not suitable for all audiences because of the images of humiliation that will be repeated several times but otherwise I recommend it especially if you like the psychological plot.

If there is something difficult in the manga is to have an ending, I think it is the difference between a good story no matter if it had a good start and development if the end does not do justice to the work presented would not be worth much to talk about it in the future, luckily this manga has an ending that I think is really fair, at the height of the work.

It even has an animated version, here is the trailer:
