This is a short announcement for Ask Anime #10 results.

Week #9: What's a Character Trait that's immediately going to make you like them in the show?

We have selected @x5ksub30's comment as the winner. They will receive 1 Hive as a reward.

Digimon Tamers mostly takes place in our reality. The Digimon came to our world, and gained blood, flesh, muscle and molecular structures leading to some pretty gnarly death scenes in the original Japanese release (which is surprisingly pretty hard to legally find). It also tangentially introduced me to horror Anime like Shiki and Higurashi.

To clarify some questions regarding what is a reverse isekai
Step 1: I identify who is the protagonist
Step 2: Confirm there are two or more existing worlds.
Step 3: Use protagonist point of view as a reference point and determine who moved first. Was the protagonist the one who initiated the start of the story by being transported to another world (isekai) or was it a supporting cast that entered the protagonist's world first which is the reverse isekai.

There are shows that let character travel between worlds but it really depends on the show's main protagonist's position in the narrative.

If Rukia from Bleach was the main protagonist and Ichigo was the one that invaded soul society to kick off the story, that's a reverse isekai right there.
