Well, you reminded me of my sadness from watching this show. I mean, the gritty high stakes, loses, cyberpunk and seriousness with the right humor was great, and it was another change from having a happy ending where everything was well, but still, it was written well enough that it was tragically great! As much as I want a happy ending, in a way, it was an ending that made sense in their lore and the characters themselves.

Hi, thanks for reading and commenting on my post. I actually agree. One of the things that struck me the most was precisely that: it wasn't the typical "happy ending," but one that felt real within the plot. You could say it hurts, but in the best way.
