Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart , espero estén teniendo una grandiosa semana, el día de hoy les comparto este dibujo que realice de la serie Hearstopper, una serie de Netflix que fue un boom el año pasado, pero que no vi sino hasta hace unas semanas. Sin duda la serie me encantó a un punto de leerme las novelas gráficas en dos días (aunque en realidad no son tan largas, así que son rápidas de leer), el estilo de dibujo de esta novela gráfica me parece tan encantador, y le da ese toque agradable y cómico al leer, sin duda atrapa muy rápido la trama, lo que hizo que no esperará tanto por leer más que continúa al ir terminando cada uno de lo volúmenes.

Greetings friends of hive and #alienart , I hope you are having a great week, today I share with you this drawing I made from the series Hearstopper, a Netflix series that was a boom last year, but I did not see until a few weeks ago. Without a doubt I loved the series to the point of reading the graphic novels in two days (although they are not really that long, so they are quick to read), the drawing style of this graphic novel seems so charming, and gives that nice and comic touch to read, it certainly catches the plot very fast, which made me not wait so much to read more than continues to finish each of the volumes.

Realice el dibujo similar al beso que se dan Nick y Charlie en la habitación de Charlie, escena que ocurre en el segundo volumen, ya que su primer beso paso en el primer volumen, también le cambie sus vestimentas, colocándose a Nick sus tópicos shorts y a Charlie sus pantalones rasgados y ajustados. Decidí colocarles las capas con los colores de las banderas de su orientación sexual, como parte de la temática del mes del pride. También realice un degradado de colores con las acuarelas en el fondo, y colUoque atrás "Heartstopper" con los colores representativos de los protagonistas, azul para Nick y amarillo para Charlie.

I made the drawing similar to the kiss that Nick and Charlie give each other in Charlie's room, scene that occurs in the second volume, since their first kiss happened in the first volume, I also changed their clothes, placing Nick in his typical shorts and Charlie in his torn and tight pants. I decided to layer them with the colors of their sexual orientation flags, as part of the pride month theme. I also made a color gradient with the watercolors in the background, and placed the "Heartstopper" on the back with the representative colors of the main characters, blue for Nick and yellow for Charlie.

Realice primero la base de los dos y de una vez sus facciones, utilizando el lápiz digital y el color azul. Después con el color rosado realice las vestimentas de ambos.

First make the base of both of them and their features at once, using the digital pencil and the blue color. Then with the pink color make the clothes of both of them.

Realice el trabajo de línea utilizando la tinta dura y el color negro, después elimine las capas previas y aplique la base de color.

Do the line work using the hard ink and black color, then remove the previous layers and apply the base color.

Empecé a detallar la piel de los personajes usando la acuarela de mezcla, a su vez enrojecí ciertas áreas. Luego detallé el cabello y el calzado de los dos.

I began to detail the skin of the characters using watercolor blending, and then reddened certain areas. I then detailed the hair and footwear of the two.

Procedí a detallar la vestimenta, empezando por la de Nick y después la de Charlie. Luego detalle las capas, haciendo sus sombras y brillos, también detalle el corazón.

Con las acuarelas empecé a degradar alrededor del corazón y las caras de ambos. Después realice un degradado donde ubicaría la palabra "heartstopper", a su vez coloque con otra fuente sus nombres. Y puse un fondo de un tono beige.

With the watercolors, I started to gradient around the heart and the faces of both of them. Then I made a gradient where I would place the word "heartstopper", in turn I placed with another font their names. And I put a beige background.

Me gusta mucho ese estilo de dibujo, aunque al momento de realizarlo me saca totalmente de mi zona de confort, y aunque se ve sencillo, para mi es muy complicado hacer ese estilo caricaturezco y sentirme bien con mi resultado. Me gusta mucho esta serie, además de mensajes muy bonitos ( y personalmente no soy de ver series juveniles), espero realizar otros 3 dibujos de este estilo de las otras parejas de la novela, los cuales compartiré aquí y después en mis redes sociales. I really like this style of drawing, although at the moment of making it, it takes me out of my comfort zone, and although it looks simple, for me it is very complicated to make this cartoon style and feel good with my result. I really like this series, besides very nice messages (and personally I'm not one to watch juvenile series), I hope to make another 3 drawings of this style of the other couples of the novel, which I will share here and later in my social networks.
