Hello guys! Today I'll be sharing my pen sketch for the #splinterlands art contest. It's my first time joining this contest and sketching this character and I enjoyed every bit of the process. Though, I found it difficult at first when I started but along the line it became easy when I began to see it from the perspective that I was having fun.
Furthermore, I decided to redesign the character using some ideas from the ancient Africa culture, adornments and attires, also a body positioning as though she was having a good time. The image was achieved with the use of three colours of pen (blue, red and black) and it was shaded with hatching technique.
