Hello guys!! Today I have something different to share than I usually do. As many of you know that I am more into realism and sometimes I go stylization too but you can see the hint of realism in that too. This time, I tried a some abstract art with an abstract human figure in it. Tell me how I did? Here is the final Product:
My thought behind this art was to show the struggle of an artist to get people around his/her art. Creating art is not an easy thing but artists enjoy it coz the process of creating art is satisfying and therapeutic to them. But the disheartening part comes when an artist feels that the purpose of the art is not fulfilled. Artists dont create art for themselves alone and they want others to see and connect with their art so that the purpose of their art can be fulfilled.
Imagine a chef who loves cooking and cooks amazing food but nobody comes to taste the food, s/he will feel the same dissatisfaction as the artist with no people around to look at his/her art.
So thats the thought in my mind while I was creating this artwork. Now lets delve into the process of how it was created.
Step 1
I started with rapid drawings of a female which is the central element of this artwork, represents an artist. I was happy with this one and after picking this one I created a cleaner version of it.
Step 2
For the coloring part, I decided to paint her with a different color rather than using typical skin tones. At this point I was just experimenting.
Step 3
After a bit of experimenting, I decided to paint her with different colors. Like painting colors moving and flowing across her skin.
step 4
While I was in the middle of painting her. I thought I should just add some background, a simple one, and see how shes looking with the background. After a few attempts I found this one to be working.
Step 5
This is how she looked after painting process was completed.

Once she was painted, I then felt the need of an easel with a painting. So, I added an easel with a simple painting.
Step 7
After than I filled the background with some paintings. Also, added the plant but I exclude it later in the final painting.
Step 8
And here is the final painting one more time after I added the half-tone texture to it. The hovering blue cube represents the little hope of an artist.
