Hey hive people!!
For a long time I had not been able to publish in hive because being constant publishing frequently in this community is something really difficult although it does not seem like it, even more so when you have to balance the responsibilities of day to day, something in which all readers will agree with me and also had not been able to resume my great hobby which is illustrating.
But today I come to present you a new illustration in which I wanted to represent a new stage as an illustrator, capturing something more realistic and at the same time fanciful.

Desde hace mucho no había podido publicar en hive porque ser constante publicando frecuentemente en esta comunidad es algo realmente difícil aunque no lo parezca, mas aun cuando se tienes que balancear las responsabilidades del día a día, algo en lo que todos los lectores estarán de acuerdo conmigo y además tampoco había podido retomar mi gran pasatiempo el cual es ilustrar.
Pero el día de hoy vengo a presentarles una nueva ilustración en la cual quise representar una nueva etapa como ilustrador plasmando algo mas realista y al mismo tiempo fantasioso.
To start I use a dark background which will allow me to better appreciate the colors that I will use, this is a tip that a friend gave me and it has really worked for me since with this background I start a sketch of a girl which will be the main piece of my illustration.
Para comenzar uso un fondo oscuro lo que me permitirá apreciar mejor los colores que usare, este es un consejo que me dio un amigo y realmente me ha funcionado ya que con este fondo comienzo un boceto de una chica la cual será la pieza principal de mi ilustración.
After having a very simple sketch I start coloring with very low contrast colors, using a low shade of orange as a base and adding small and subtle shades of violet, blue and ocher.
Luego de tener un boceto muy simple empiezo a colorear con colores de muy bajo contraste, usando como base un tono bajo de naranja y añadiendo pequeños y sutiles tonos de violeta azules y ocres.
Choosing the base tones well helps them complement each other better while maintaining harmony, for this I recommend using close tones on a color wheel and to accentuate the different lines of the face, different shades of the same colors are added.
Escoger bien los tonos bases ayuda a que se complementen mejor manteniendo una armonía, para esto recomiendo usar tonos cercanos en una rueda de color y para ir acentuando las distintas líneas del rostro se van añadiendo distintas tonalidades de los mismos colores.
The trick that I have learned is to add details little by little and not rush the process, for this part I begin to detail the face more with stronger tones while I continue to maintain harmony and at this point you can already see how it looks. You will see the face at the end.
El truco que eh aprendido es ir poco a poco agregando detalles y no apresurar el proceso, para esta parte ya empiezo a detallar mas el rostro con tonalidades mas fuerte a la vez que sigo manteniendo la armonía y en este punto ya se puede observar como se vera el rostro al final.
With the face well defined, I begin to paint what will be the hair with a light yellow tone and the torso that will be covered with a thin cloth as well as some horns that will give the illustration fantasy.
Ya con el rostro bien definido comienzo a pintar lo que serán el cabello con un tono de amarillo claro y el torso que estará cubierto con una delgada tela además de unos cuerno que dotaran de fantasía a la ilustración.
In order to create a denser and more credible figure in the eye of the beholder, it is necessary to add darker tones and tones to give the illustration realism as well as to begin to create the atmosphere of our protagonist.
Para ir creando una figura mas densa y creíble al ojo del espectador se requiere ir agregando tonos y tonos mas oscuros para ir dotando de realismo la ilustración así como también empezar a crear la atmosfera de nuestro protagonista.
