Recently, in several posts here on Hive, I saw a number of wonderful works of art, and I called this art exhibition ‘Protest’. It included several artists and different styles of expression for this protest. The truth is that it was worth looking at each work and its details. There were colours, black and white, screams, or silent people, different forms. Protests from nature, from societies, from women, many objectives, a great need to say things, not to remain silent, and to demand or open our eyes. In addition, the creator of the posts said at one point that it could serve as inspiration for new art, which made me think.
In this case, I thought about the protest made by nature and the world in general, everyone, where the forms of expressing that protest can be screams or silence, where nature is damaged, cities destroyed, the climate changing in very strange ways. Many truths are silenced and hidden from people, protests for knowledge, protests for light, protests for freedom and so that small flowers can bloom in many hostile environments.
Design process
The design is made entirely in Photoshop CS6 with nine royalty-free images and 17 layers.
To develop the background, I used a dark image with a soft forest background on which I placed two images, one of a forest and another of some ruins, in two different layers with a darken blend on both and erasing part of the background of one of them. On top of this, I placed the image of a map in two layers with darker colour blends and lighten, which I would then alternate in opacity in the animation.
On top of this, I placed an image of dark hands with the overlay blend, and all the layers I added from then on, I placed under the hands so that I could see how the design was coming along during the process. Therefore, between the map and the hands, I placed two images on both sides of the design, the images of women's faces, with lighten and linear overexposure blends.
In the centre of the design, on top of the two previous images, I placed the eye, erasing part of the background, in three layers with overlay, focal light and normal blends.
I multiplied the eye layer three more times, in three layers, with normal and luminosity blends, and placed them on a smaller scale in different parts of the design. Finally, I arranged the image of the flowers in the design, at the bottom, in three layers and in different positions with the divide blend.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Recientemente en varios posts aquí en Hive pude ver una cantidad de obras de arte maravillosas y a esa muestra de arte se la denomino "Protesta". Se incluían varios artistas y distintos estilos de formas en que esta protesta se expresa. Lo cierto es que merecía la pena mirar cada obra y sus detalles, había colores, blanco y negro, gritos, o gente callada, distintas formas. Protestas de la naturaleza, de las sociedades, de la mujer, muchos objetivos, mucha necesidad de decir cosas, de no callar y de reclamar o abrir los ojos. Además, la creadora de los posts en un momento dado dijo que podía servir de inspiración para hacer nuevo arte, eso me hizo pensar.
En este caso pensé en la protesta que hace la naturaleza y el mundo en general, todo el mundo, donde las formas de expresar esa protesta puede ser gritos o en silencio, donde la naturaleza es dañada, las ciudades destruidas, el clima cambiando de forma muy extraña. Muchas verdades son calladas y se ocultan a la gente, protestas por saber, protestas por dar luz, protestas por la libertad y porque pequeñas flores puedan nacer en muchos medios hostiles.
Proceso del diseño
El diseño está realizado completamente en Photoshop CS6 con nueve imágenes libres de derechos de autor y en 17 capas.
Para desarrollar el fondo usé una imagen oscura con un fondo suave de bosque sobre la que coloqué dos imágenes, una de un bosque y otra de unas ruinas, en dos capas distintas con la fusión de oscurecer en ambas y borrando parte del fondo de una de ellas. A su vez sobre esto puse la imagen de un mapa en dos capas con las fusiones de color más oscuro y aclarar que luego alternaría su opacidad en la animación.
Sobre lo anterior puse una imagen de unas manos oscuras con la fusión de superponer y todas las capas de aquí en adelante que agregué, lo hice debajo de las manos para ir viendo en el proceso como quedaba el diseño. Por ello entre el mapa y las manos puse dos imágenes a ambos lados del diseño, las imágenes de los rostros de mujer, con las fusiones de aclarar y sobreexposición lineal.
En el centro del diseño sobre las dos imágenes anteriores, coloqué el ojo, borrando parte del fondo, en tres capas con fusiones de superponer, luz focal y normal.
Multipliqué la capa de los ojos tres veces más, en tres capas, son fusiones normal y luminosidad y a menor escala los coloqué en distintas partes del diseño. Finalmente dispuse la imagen de las flores en el diseño, en la parte de abajo, en tres capas y en distintas posiciones con la fusión de dividir.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Buenas tardes @avdesing. Cuando abrí la publicación pensé en algo relacionado con el terror. El el texto ya me aclaró que el tema era otro. La música que acompaña el video es muy apropiada y el diseño muestra muy bien el mensaje. Me gustó esa parte en la que aprece un mapa terrestre como mostrando que la protesta y los motivos son universales. Aquí te dejo mis felicitaciones.
