It's a beautiful quote from the book "Kafka on the shore" in which one of the main
characters is a 15 year old boy called Tamura.
Even though he may seem a normal person he hides an heavy burden inside his psyche,
and an apparently never-ending chaos in his heart.
Sometimes a boy called crow visits his dreams...
Behind the work
In this collage i wanted to start from a 1800s anatomical subject and afterwards i came up with the idea of merging some medieval castles inside his belly🙉
i found them from an italian illustrated book called "Conoscere".
The "boy named crow" is from a Bollywood romantic movie poster, i never knew about vintage indian movies but i randomly ran into them during one of my Pinterest researches and i must admit they're really dope, especially the one depicting deities🧞

Thanks man, i'm sorry for disappearing😭 , how are you? it's a really great lecture by Haruki Murakami mad genie!, one of the most absurd and original things he did it's depicting a sort of entities that take the form of icons from capitalism to manifest themselves (like Colonel Sanders🤯)
There is a movie called 'Branded' that's Russian, i think. It had a similar plot and was one of the most oddly cool movies i have seen. If you haven't seen it.... check it out and remember this conversation. hahaha I will have to check out the lecture.
From the trailer it looks amazing🤯, also it seems that never got distributed in Italy... lol italian audience wasn't ready for that

It was a pretty hard process to cut the sun's light rays but in the end i can proudly say that the sun is still shining 💪🌞

Thanks man! I really enjoy to create more conceptual collages with less exaggerations, yep that book is just like a journey, you get all kinds of emotions through the path and in the end Nakata will always drink that hojicha in any situation😂

I barely remember the story TBH, I went through a bender of reading as many Haruki Murakami books as I could find and they all kind of blended together in my head, I could probably reread them all at some point lol
that happens to me every time!😩😩 i'm trying to get the good habit of making a recap in a notebook of every manga/book/film i finish, ye for me it's a book that really deserves a reread
