Well, it's been quite a while since my last personal post. I have been sick with f'n covid for the 3rd time, have a crapped out computer, and have been busy in the meantime to just keep up with the Alien Art Hive, Photography Lovers Community, OCD , and Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest curations so much so that i barely have had a chance to think about my own personal growth and development on HIVE!
That's ok since it's all a labor of....
One thing i enjoy doing to destress a little after my duties is to play around with AI and generating some images. It's fun to just think of random things that may or may not go together and seeing how the art comes out. I have made a few posts last year, and if you click on my posts (not the blog) they are very easy to find and EXPLORE, if you want to.

As a wise friend told me.... i don't have to write a novel. If you have read any of my previous posts... then you know i almost always write up a novella for every post!

With all the buzz about AI art and ChatGPT etc. it's interesting to hear all the doom and gloom naysayers. Meanwhile, i am having fun exploring this new set of tools for my own artistic endeavors!

To round things off for this post, i will not use ChatGPT to help me get random things to use for my prompts and accelerate the process. ChatGPT is actually not great at all for crafting prompts... but i am sure that will change in the very near future. For now, i will just use it as a random generator.

Thanks! It is impressive and it gets so addicting once you get a workflow and some exciting results. It's like in art, you can always do better and refine your craft more and more. The AI generations is the same. Once you get on the hunt and it gets more and more interesting... the more i want to generate to get the perfect surprise. But it's hard not to get ADHD with all the creativity and topics, styles, artists, modifiers in prompts, models, and samplers, etc. One idea leads to a million others.

btw - You got my Nightcafe link: I am now in a chat group where we share prompts. I did so all along anyway, but now I am with likeminded peeps - so what we do also in chat we warn our members if their stuff has been pilfered, in case they didn't notice themselves (i.e. evolved, prompts used) without leaving the prompt open. If it is blatant, like when their stuff looks like a carbon copy, we block them. (Note: you get a msg when someone uses anything of yours, so you can check)

Second, great minds think alike... i remain unchanged as i have rejected taking the untested, gene-therapy (by the standard medical definition), weaponized, propagandized, and extortionate 'vaccines' so called.
I would personally rather use my own immunity to deal with it if/when i get it rather than compromise my self with unknown side effects or Hegelian Medicine launched for the created problems falsified solution. Ironically, 2 out of 3 of my cases were given to me by vaxxed people that are now doubting their health choices now that more information is coming to light. I'm sorry but such a small mortality rate does not warrant the reaction the world had to this created vector, imho.
Another irony, absolutely nothing locked-down or changed world wide when Ebola just magically showed up out of nowhere in Dallas, Texas a few years back. I doubt many even remember that. Being that Dallas is heavily populated and centered in the middle of North America as a travel hub for people going East to West and vice versa as well as the main corridor for anyone South of the US border coming North... i am shocked there wasn't more media attention or public reaction. At that time Ebola still had an 80+% mortality rate.

@castleberry OMG. I had NOOOOOO idea AI could produce such a huge range of art - from abstract to ultrarealistic portraits. All of them are amazing but I love the Trump as a gray alien and The Cherokee woman.
I am tempted to try it out sometime. Right now, totally tied up with work and whatever free time I get on Sundays, I spend on my wildlife photography and writing up a post once in a while.
Sorry to hear about the third time Covid incident! Damn - I think I had one last week - for the first time. Was down with fever but never suspected Covid and then BAM - after I recovered from the fever, my sense of smell was totally gone!!! It is slowly recovering now, after almost a week!

Yes, it's pretty incredible how far the tech has come in a short time! There are many training models and samplers that all produce particular results that when you artfully craft your prompt and mix and match all the settings can really give you a complete and robust suite of choices to use as a tool to make your imagination and creativity come to life! I should be posting a part 2 here soon, so

That Cherokee woman one is scary good. The second one at the top almost looks like that Pioneer Woman on the Food Network. I haven't had time to play round with MidJourney much anymore. I think I ran out of credits a long time ago an I am not sure I want to pay for it. I like going through the daily prompts and seeing what people come up with though. These are really awesome.
I worked a bit harder on that one since i am part Cherokee and wanted to add a bit more honor to the process. It was extremely good and it's basically the same specs i used for Picard. You could literally copy and paste those prompts, click on the discord invite, then type in /dream and then paste the prompt, and it will make one for you for free.
hahaha You can just pop in and play around a bit. It's different from the sites but probably way better once you get the bot command stuff down. You can also just pop in and go look at what everyone else has made. The art star gallery room is kind of the best ones chosen by everyone when they like one a lot.

You definitely have a knack for handling artificial intelligences, I tell you what I tried a few times and found out I'm not good at it. However you have managed to get such fascinating results out of this tool I would like to see more of those experiments with fantasy like candyland or others. I mean they are great but more refined if possible. Very good work in my opinion

The Dora in Cyberpunk was originally Ausbit's creation. He had some awesome realistic Dora generations. I just recrafted one for the post since i used the word explore and it reminded me of his runs on the topic.

I think you should totally give it a try. You can also use your own art in an attachment to give the AI a starting point. Yes, i've had many conversations there with ChatGPT. Some of them have been some interesting debates, some of them random info, and others... trying to get it to help me craft some prompts!

He's adding stuff ALL THE TIME! I still haven't even tried out many of the models and other options. Just playing with the samplers and getting a feel for the pros and cons of each could probably take a lifetime to fully appreciate. Then the models and seeds could be another lifetime of study. Prompting is already probably the most important aspect to learn initially. It's all pretty mindblowing... and as soon as you figure one thing out, a million more new things pop up. hahhaa

i'm playing mostly with deepdreamgenerator's models... since my midjourney trial was over...
then tried playgroundai which is not limited.
i also tried ausbitbank's bot at the early stage, but going to check it out again! :)
OH nice! The sites seem to have a more sleek look and easier user experience. But once it's more comfortable learning the bot commands... it seems like there are so many more options integrated into the bot that gives more flexibility and a wider spectrum of opportunity for the users.... and for basically free.
I haven't used say premium options on the accounts... so i am not the best to make an actual comparison. I can say there are more than one midjourney models if i remember so they even have can imitate one of the other services. It's getting crazy. I did try deepdream and it's grown options quite a bit too. Looking forward to seeing where this is all headed plus the cool art along the way!
