Blocks of memory chained piecemeal:
in contrast to the digital —
chaos reigns supreme in old psyche.

Fraught with disillusionment,
naïveté — too pleasant
rolls in waves so evanescent
while the paradoxes play.

But then — what can I say
when against the fates arrayed
I stand accused of long complacence
which disaster soon allays?

All is fair in love and death:
cycling soul, made ever-fresh
by patterns and their breakage
orchestrated by soul-mesh.
