Happy day to everyone at @alienarthive! I'm starting with a slightly different illustration and post, since in this case I'm not starting from scratch. Instead, I decided to give an improved touch to this old illustration from many years ago. I think this illustration is at least 11 years old, and I felt it needed more color, volume, and some extra details. I'm very happy with the new version.
So, what is it? Well, it's a yokai, a Japanese spirit, hanging with shibare, a Japanese art of rope and tying. Anyway, now I'll show you the process.
